Only click and collect at this time of modified lockdown. Accepts service booking by phone. Although service is not possible on same day they still accommodated my request for a quick check of my bicycle and provided an overview on how to do the repair myself. Friendly staff and demonstrated genuine interest to help. I have been a loyal customer for years.

Small shop but super nice staff and competent technicians. Plenty of gear and conveniently located across the road from the station. I got better service here than at just about any other cycle shop in Sydney.

The service is ok but charges are quite unreasonable. So everyone thinking to go there, Be prepared it will cost you a fortunate to have you bike serviced by these guys. When you paid premium price, you expect premium services and coverage. Had the tube and tire replaced by these guys, but the tube bursted just after 1 ride without any punch or nail. No warranty or protection is provided for the parts, even it went bursted just after 1 ride. These guys are asking another $30 to replace another ‘new’ tube that is only a 5 mins job. I must be the most unlucky one. Anyway just want to warn anyone thinking to go there, be prepared that is not going to be cheap.

They're flakey. Been in many times and have never received great service. Now go elsewhere even though they're so close to us! :(

Tried getting my wheel trued, verbal of 2 weeks lead time, they said to email them details for better response, and never got a response via email. Went to Hornsby and got it done in 2 days with great service.

As others have described their communication is extremely poor even by bike shop standards. Bike wasn't ready when they said it would be without letting me know. Replaced pedals without calling me and letting me know, so I either had to spend another week without my bike or wear it. Couldn't get their story straight regarding why the pedals had to be replaced. First the said they couldn't get the lock nut off. I had to ask to see the part, and when it came out it had the lock nut off but it was missing and apparently was Shimano specific. Sometimes you can replace the spindle apparently but they didn't ask me whether this was something I would like, they just bunged a new set of pedals on and charged me full sticker and the first I knew about it was when I showed up to collect it. Despite a service on the front fork, my front disc rubs. I don't expect to get my bike back with rubbing brakes, especially given their penchant for doing services without asking. That's something I'd be happy to see an extra $20 on the bill for when I show up, or if it costs more than that pick up the bloody phone. That said the work they did seems good.

Brought road bike in for a level 1 service ($119), with a lever problem. Got a call saying the lever is busted, apart from that no problems apart from updating Di2 software. Pick up bike, get a bill for level 2 service ($179), new bottom bracket ($150), and $30 "labour" for the software update (a 2 minute "job" at best). No calls about any of the supposed "new" requirements. Needless to say I was pretty unimpressed and I won't be bringing my business back to Trek. Neither will be quite a few of my riding group. Plenty of other excellent shops in the local area that don't behave like this.

Poor experience! The woman that assisted me when I first entered the store was quite impatient and didn't let me finish explaining the problem with my bike. When the problem was diagnosed (the hub body was apparently broken), instead of fixing it they suggested replacing the whole wheel for $400! That was over half the price I paid for my bike so I decided to leave (with my back wheel in pieces because they wanted to charge another $70 to put it back together!) I found a replacement wheel on Facebook for less than half the price and it's been working perfectly for me, don't waste your time here!

Looked at bikes with a friend. Very helpful staff. (Update) Had to deal with these guys again after a problem came about with my bike and it was the worst experience of my life

I wanted to start road riding and went to Turra cycles and spent over $3000 on a new bike, pedals, shoes and everything needed to get going. The sales assistant told me the shoes would stretch after I told him they felt narrow. We tried the next size up but they were sloppy. After six weeks I still get numb and tingly feet from the shoes being too narrow. I called and asked for tips, advice on what can be done about being ill-fitted in cycling shoes and they told me they had no tips or advice and that I need to buy new shoes. I am highly disappointed and was hoping for some better service after their sales guy put me in a shoe that causes me discomfort on my ride. I thought they should take some responsibility to fitting me out incorrectly but they didn’t seem to care. I thought they could have offered me a discounted new purchase at least but that wasn’t offered. Not sure I even want to take me bike back for first service. Might as well buy from an online shop and get full return facility.

Extortion. I took my Trek Powerfly for a warranty repair because the battery keeps falling out and the rear hub was just free spinning. I was told everything will be covered under warranty on multiple occasions and that parts were ordered. After a month of calling weekly for an update finally the parts were on their way. When the parts arrived I was told that the hub replacement will be $361 and not covered under warranty. I then asked them not to worry about the hub and just fix the battery latch but they said they will not fix anything unless I buy the hub and also wanted to charge me for storage for the bike because I couldn’t pickup the bike on the day they called me even though I have been waiting for a month. Total extortion and should not be allowed to operate. I accepted to buy the wheel (under duress) but now I am going to fair trading. Reply to Response: I thought you were going to fix it under warranty because that is what you told me you were going to do, I did not make that up. If you were not going to fix it for free, don’t tell me that you are, and don’t extort your customers. You had a chance to get a customer, instead you lost one, and many more reading these reviews. Just be honest communicate with your customers and we will understand. Also no need for insults, they only prove my narrative more than defend yours.

I’m a 62 year old lady who was due to go on a bike tour to NZ this month so visited our local cycle shop as opposed to going on line . Staff were extremely helpful and fitted me out with all the gear. It was certainly more expensive than the gear my fellow bikers bought on line but I was happy with that as I felt I had good quality gear. Of course our trip was cancelled due to COVID -19 so today I turned up to return all my gear - unused with tags on and receipt After consultation with the owner ( who never appeared ) the staff were very embarrassed to tell me I would only get 80% returned due to restocking costs - they only had to hang the gear back up in the shop ! Life is pretty rough at the moment and there was no point in upsetting the poor staff so I just accepted the situation Very greedy , unkind owner - avoid this store at all costs - I will tell all my friends and family and friends what happened On line for me next time with their generous return policies !

I ask Bike shop to install a power meter on my bike. Bike given back with Stages Power meter installed. Cost $800. Went for a ride. 2 days later. My Garmin 1030 is saying that the average power is 5 watts for 30 km medium hard ride. while riding at 30 km/hr on the flat. I say to myself that has to be at least 100 watts power - something wrong with power meter. Take bike back to shop explaining power meter not communicating with garmin. Shop has bike for 2 days. No message to say bike ready so call bike shop. Bike shop says bike fixed. Arrive and then get hit with $30 bill for time spent rectifying the "problem" with the power meter I paid $800 for a few days earlier. I say to bike shop "bike shop should have ensured power meter works with recording device, eg garmin before charging $800 for power meter, Bike shop say bike shop take lot of time to fix "problem". I complain in vain. I feel bad. I pay the extra money...... Bike shop say sorry need to discuss with manager blah blah blah. I feel like I have been robbed. I hold my wallet close to my chest before leaving the shop in case any more money gets stolen from it. I say to myself "be careful of thieves". I also say to myself "DO NOT GO BACK HERE"....... Tip for bike shop. When charging $800 and taking your big commission for a XXXXXX thingame please take the responsibility of ensuring it actually works FULLY before giving the bike back to the client.
