I came on this trip with the dream of seeing polar bears, but I left with my heart full, having experienced them with the most knowledgeable and considerate group. Fulfilling my dream alongside such wonderful people was truly the highlight of the trip. Our guide was an incredible combination of knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm. Her photography skills were the icing on the cake.

Traveling by Polar Rover and spending evenings and mornings around the Tundra Lodge seeing bears up close was unforgettable. Watching mother and cub pairs, as well as bears rolling around like puppies on their backs, were highlights for me. I also enjoyed sharing pictures and photography tips with others on the trip.

Our Expedition Leader was consistently excited to be out with the bears, and her stories were entertaining during the drives. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history and wildlife of the tundra and was very helpful with equipment questions. The meals were tasty, plentiful, and varied from day to day. Thanks for a wonderful trip and a lifetime experience.

I enjoyed all the activities, especially the dog sled ride. A particularly memorable moment happened when I was alone in the dining car, and a polar bear stood up under my window and looked at me. It was amazing! I knew we would see and photograph incredible sights each day, from the wildlife (especially polar bears) to the beautiful tundra landscape.

This adventure exceeded my high expectations. Dogsledding was a highlight in a trip full of highlights!

We have traveled a fair amount and our expedition leaders were some of the top guides we have encountered. They had incredible patience, knowledge of photography and bears and the willingness to go the extra mile to assist each traveler in whatever they needed. Could not have asked for better guides.

WOW! Wildlife viewing was indescribably awesome and far surpassed our expectations. Mama bears with cubs, bears walking, sleeping, scooting along the ice with their chin on the ice and their rump in the air. Several opportunities to watch male bears play fighting. Fascinating to watch the submissive behavior of a big male bear who wanted to play with a much younger, and wary, male. Finally the big guy convinced the smaller bear he was not going to hurt him, and they engaged in posturing and play fighting before two other big males approached and got in on the action and the smaller individual backed off to watch. Amazing opportunities to photograph the bears in addition to cross fox, arctic fox, snowy owl and ptarmigan.

Our guides were amazing - a wealth of information on polar bears and their presentations were lively and so well done. Their experience is so impressive and his photography expertise was remarkable. Our guides and our Rover drivers were bear whisperers. They never failed to find where the bears were and artic fox and red fox and ptarmigans. All the staff were simply outstanding!

Our guide provided great insight into the area, history and animal behavior while the other provided exceptional help on perfecting our photo skills.
