Following a ride I hosed down the bike and hosed my 5:10s clean too. I poured out the excess water leaving the soaking, after 5 hours with 4 sheets of a quality newspaper they were still wet. The Drysures have been left in all night and all day and my shoes are only just damp to the touch. I never left them by a radiator or the like. I'm pretty impressed as normally the 5:10s take days to dry. I'm sure if i hadn't hosed the shoes they would have been dry.

5 years agoA PRETTY GOOD BUY. These are a neat version of the old fashioned cloth bag of grain or whatever and much better than a crushed up newspaper. Still no perfect for really wet boots but a safe way of taking the damp away.Definitely a good buy.A PRETTY GOOD BUY. When I put on a pair of sneakers, I switch this to my other pair and vice versa. Drys the shoes quickly and effectively. Too big for kids size shoes though!! I plan on buying several. I haven't tried it to dry shoes after putting them in the washer. That test will be next. [DRYSURE ACTIVE]

I’m an avid skier and also an instructor pastime. I was slightly hesitant to order these but for the money and the reviews thought I would give them a go. I used to use my own boot dryers but the broke and cost over £100 to replace. Anyway bought these are they do the job perfectly. My boots are put away in my boot bag after skiing and they are totally dry the next morning. What’s particularly great is not having to leave smelly boots drying with my old electric dryers. These dry without making the smell. Very happy and would well recommend. Perfect to leave in boots as I do for next days use. I have been using for a good few weeks and think they are great!

I would 100% recommend drysure to anyone even thinking about purchasing something to dry their shoes/boots. They won't let you down :)

5 years agoGood, convenient product Not much better than traditional methods but far more convenient. I leave them in any shoes I’m not wearing to reduce odours. Had been eyeing these up for a while, when one day I gave in and bought them. Well after the first rainy day i excitedly popped these in my soaking wet trainers and waited! 24hrs later the shoes were completely dry, so yes they definitely work! I always hate putting trainers in the tumble dryer as often they shrink, and when you off camping/glamping/caravaning etc and away from home and where radiators and hair dryers are short supply, then these really come into a league of their own. No more stuffing newspaper in my shoes hoping by the grace of god they will dry out! These are honestly really good, particularly if you are an outdoor kind of person. I have now bought 2 of the boot versions for mine and my brothers mx boots.

See MoreI was intrigued by this product having annoyed my wife with a constant stream of half-dry running shoes lying around the house. That's the problem with running in the UK - a couple of days a year you can stay dry and leave your shoes outside to air, bit the rest of the time you need other methods. I tried these out as soon s the arrived and the seemed to take a bit of the remaining dampness away from my shoes, though certainly didn't live up to any of the claims about odour reduction - another problem with shoes sitting damp for a long time! After the next few, relatively dry, runs I used these overnight to dry out the shoes ready for the next run - I can't say I ever really felt the shoes were dry, just not noticeably damp. After a few wetter runs I thought I'd re-activate them, as per the instructions, by putting them in the oven. I was a tad wary of letting them.get too hot, so I kept the temperature a bit below the recommended 100°C and kept an eye on them. Once they'd been on the (lower) middle shelf for an hour or so, I pulled them out and thought they felt quite a bit drier and lighter. Unfortunately though, this was as one of them had a hole burnt through the bottom so I had to spend a while picking silica gel beads out of the oven and hope it doesn't affect the food cooked in there! Very disappointing for something that's not that cheap, for what it is, and doesn't quite live up to its marketing hype.

See MoreTHEY DO WORK This shoe dryer does work, I`m a runner, my shoes get so sweaty wet, tired of putting news paper inside. I found these Drysure active shoe dryers for not much money so I order a pair and Iv`e been using them for a few weeks and I like them, they do take a little longer to dry then 3-4 hours, mine are 24 hrs. to dry, but that my be the hard training.

5 years agoGood for removing light sweat from your boot. But if they are sort of wet, this device can't handle regular ammounts of water. I'm not pretending that they will work on water soaked boots, but I was expecting a better performance on regu ... See MoreGood for removing light sweat from your boot. I'm not pretending that they will work on water soaked boots, but I was expecting a better performance on regular wet shoes. P.S. I did follow the instructions.

5 years agoThey do what they’re meant to do I really wish I’d bought these at the same time I bought my new golf shoes. Sadly there’s no fixing the stench that comes off them, but these really do work. Dry within an hour.They do what they’re meant to do I really wish I’d bought these at the same time I bought my new golf shoes.
