Ok, in the first place I hardly speak Italian so therefore my apologies but therefore a review which hopefully is understandable for even more people!
Second of all. I’m from The Netherlands (wooden clumps, tulips, bad cheese…etc) and I can say we have a quit high density of bike shops specifically for road-, gravel- and mountainbike.
During my holiday close to San Quirico d’Orcia I gravel a lot. During my last ride I had a terrible annoying cracking sound in my bottom bracket of my Sworks Diverge. Just before I left to Italy I let him check by my (new) local bikeshop (sponsor cycling club). I called the Trek shop in Arezzo because close to San Quirico there was no shop who has knowledge about sportbikes and in Arezzo they did. The guys in Arezzo spoke perfect English, had all the stuff on stock and eventually they didn’t had to change the bearings (what I thought was necessary) and said the bearing were perfectly fine but there was play on the bottom bracket since it wasn’t tightened enough. I let them check my disc brakes on the back and they had to be replaced. I’m not going to mention the total price but it was not even close to what you have to pay in The Netherlands. Price is just a detail but I was happy to meet those guys which were honest, fair and hospitable. Thanks for that, thanks dor the coffee and will see you next time. And yes, the awful cracky noise disappeared
