Interacting with the guides and learning from them was a highlight. They were extremely knowledgeable and shared their knowledge in an engaging way, never just reciting facts. It was clear they enjoyed what they were doing, and it showed. It was a wonderful experience for my entire family.

Safety was always the top priority, and I had no concerns in that regard. Being on a Women in the Wild departure was a fantastic experience, and the beauty we saw everywhere was breathtaking. As one person said, "Every time I turn around, there is more beauty to see or something of interest."

I enjoyed staying in all of the historic lodges. They were unique and lovely, with great scenery. It's hard to pick a favorite part—the scenery was stunning, and I always love seeing wildlife. The most exciting moment for me was seeing the moose at Fishercap Lake, followed by the deer and her fawn. Seeing the bear and cubs in Red Rock Canyons and the mountain goats at Logan Pass was incredible. It was so exciting!

I enjoyed the variety of activities, from float trips to lake explorations and hiking excursions. The vehicles were top-notch—I loved the pop tops! My favorite part was our time on the Trail of the Cedars in the temperate rainforest. The beauty and silence were amazing.

One of the major reasons we chose this trip through Nat Hab was the ability to stay at such wonderful historic lodges. The vans were ideal for viewing the incredible scenery and wildlife—everyone had a window seat! Having someone else take care of all the logistics made the trip seamless and easy. The experienced, knowledgeable and pleasant guides were essential to our enjoyment.

I had several highlights, but the animal encounters topped the list—seeing a moose with her calf and a bear with her cubs was incredible, and I also had a couple of close encounters with mountain goats. I loved seeing all the little critters too, like marmots. Nat Hab provides such great experiences, which is why we've been on two trips with them and have two more booked. I love the small and personal groups focused on environmental conservation.

Our Expedition Leader’s easy-going demeanor and depth of knowledge made him a fantastic lead guide. As a birder, I was impressed with his ability to find and identify birds. He also had extensive knowledge of the wildflowers, which was awe-inspiring considering the variety. He seemed to have a sixth sense for spotting goats, bears or bighorn sheep in places others were overlooking.

I enjoyed all the hikes, boat rides and time spent with the Blackfeet tribe. Being part of a smudging ritual, learning about Blackfeet culture, faith and history was a highlight. The wildlife viewing opportunities were fantastic. Learning about the history and creation of the parks, the origins of the names of mountains and waterfalls, and the geology and biodiversity was fascinating.

All accommodations, particularly the national park lodges, were exceptional. Being immersed in nature, learning from the Blackfeet elder and experiencing our universal connection were all humbling moments.
