So far, I'm delighted with the program. Initially, I was a little hesitant about joining. I used to play a fair amount and considered myself a competent intermediate guitar player sitting in with friends' bands periodically over the years. For a variety of reasons I seemed to have lost the enjoyment and thus, interest in playing over the past couple of years. I had become stuck. While I'm familiar with much of the content of the 30 Day Program and even the 5 Day Program. I am refreshing things I knew, learning some new things, and enjoying the programs. I am having fun again. I feel that my interest in playing guitar has been renewed in a significant way in a very short period of time. I am excited to continue the consistency and soon begin the formal Acoustic Challenge.

Boy, lets talk about a review or life changer. I have "touched" my guitar for over 50 years as a dabbler. Its time I move into a true guitar player. I checked out many of the on-line opportunities but the TAC fit my need as it plays into the competitive part of me as well. 30-day Challenge - crushed it but learned so much as Troy is awesome as a Guitar Sensei. The methods used as well as the methodical approach really works- the best investment of continued life learning that I needed. Look forward to learning daily as I progress in my guitar development.

I love how each lesson is broken into small, manageable pieces. I am thoroughly enjoying the lessons and I'm learning techniques I've had difficulty in the past. Thank you.

I started the challenge. I love the approach and confidence building techniques. I have been traveling without my guitar sooooo I've put the challenge on hold atm but looking forward to starting up again upon my return. I've also referred others to check it out!

I decided to give Tony a shot after taking in person lessons and another on line guitar class where I quickly lost interest and became discouraged. In my 1st week I noticed a lot of differences with Tony's Acoustic Challenge. Easy access to Tab's and easy to follow instructions and play alongs has me ready to stick with it!

So far incredible. Been struggling trying to wrap my head around the guitar after learning the piano and clarinet with lessons. Had so many questions around why and how chords are played and major and minor cords and have my answer in one week!!!!!! I am pleased so far. Practice and I think my fingers are not long enough!?

What, if anything, made you hesitate to sign up for TAC? If I spend the money will I get discouraged and quit again? Or will I follow it thru, So far so good, I'm work'in the Boogie. What did you find once you became a member? It's only been a week but I've several of Toney's video's and I like what he says about having fun and playing the guitar and not just practicing, plus when I was young I was a Dallas Blackhawk fan so that kinda drew me in, lol. (GO STARS!)What's the thing you love most about TAC? It's still a little early but working the blues this first week slowly, My hands and my brain I hope someday start acting as a single unit but so far I like my progress using this method of attack. What type of player do you think it's best for? I can only really speak for myself so with that being said, I am not a complete beginner I have dabbled for a while and then life seemed to happen and back and forth and back and forth so I hope for me.

So far its been an amazing relearning experience for me. Once I became a member I soon felt at home. Tony's pro-active approach to teaching methods astound me. He's very articulate and expressive in his teaching methods. He makes you feel like family, his sincerity to wanting you to have FUN while learning to ENJOY the guitar is overwhelming at times. I've seen many teaching offers on Utube, howewver when I came across Tony's Accoustic Challenge, I knew it was for me. I LOVE Tac's Systematic approach to engaging the student in every aspect of moving ahead, even with just a 10 minute lesson. Like many I too go beyond that time span. I've often so much enjoyed exploring more and more on a daily basis. I LOVE the Tab and video sytem of learning. Tony engages us at all levels of playing, from beginners to professionals. I love the methods he teaches, he covers so much material that one can feel overwhelmed at times, but step by step I'm learning quicker, it's the best course out there.

It's definitely been a challenge for me! I used to play around with the mandolin when I was younger and have always had a guitar laying around somewhere thinking one day, I'd get serious and really learn to play. Well, that day has arrived! I believe, with this process, I will achieve that! I'm actually having fun and looking forward to my practice sessions. Albeit painful, (My left hand is pretty sore) but I'm sticking with it! I'm looking forward to writing you at the completion of the quarter and tell you that I'm finally a guitar player!

Very impressed with how challenging yet fun and attainable this course is to get me back into playing my guitar. I’ve learned so much with Tony's expert way of teaching how fun guitar can be with so much reinforcement that makes you feel comfortable and not such a looser if you don’t get the lesson perfectly. It’s all about having fun and positive reinforcement! Love how he’s structured this course…everyone is a winner!

I was basically a rank beginner. Tony’s infectious teaching style, the 10 min commitment, and trying something a little different every day building into a week’s lesson set, all keeps it interesting, challenging, yet still approachable. I’m almost 2 months in, playing just about every day. It really is fun.

I started playing guitar when I was 12, but after college not having my playing buddies, I put my music away for over 20 years. I started back some time ago, finding a course online, but it was too much into music theory and exercises that became boring. I tried some classic guitar because I love finger style and can't sing, but again I couldn't find myself so I put everything back into the closet; that was 12 years ago. I saw TAC on Facebook, and kept scrolling past it, but it kept reappearing. I watched the video, and figured what the heck and signed up. Right now I am into week 2, mostly refresher lessons for me at this stage, however a lot more fun than the old stuff I used to play. Biggest issue now being a lot older, is rebuilding my calluses and hand strength. I have small hands, so some chord stretches require finding another way to shape the chord.

I’d taken in person guitar lessons for about 6 months more than 10 years ago, so I own a guitar, but just didn’t gain traction. I’m basically a rank beginner who can’t carry a tune. I stumbled on Tony’s 36 min video on Instagram. Tony’s presentation, with its “10 minute a day” and “fun” emphasis, got me. The 10 min DAILY practice combined with the trying something a little different every day keeps me engaged - I’m almost 2 months in, playing just about every day. I needed to learn a few things to get going (use an app to tune your guitar, esp to open or alternate tuning; watch really carefully how Tony holds his hands and fingers). I’m enjoying this learning and playing, it’s good for my brain and really is fun.

I have learned so much from TAC. As an advanced intermediate, I was skeptical that there would be any lessons for my ability level. But to my surprise there are many topics in the skills section that I find very helpful and challenging. I am currently working on my flat picking and making amazing progress. Tony’s lessons are easy to follow and straight forward. Definitely recommend!

Nice attitudes and approach. I like how things are set up in bite-sized pieces that are tied to skills through the 30 Days and the Challenge Week. Thank you!

Great approach to making learning the guitar bite size for a busy schedule and to remove the intimidating feeling of such an iconic instrument.

Wow! This is exactly what I wanted! At 72 I wanted lessons to get me playing as fast as possible. I am two months in and have learned more than the year of lessons one on one six years ago. This keeps me going because I feel I am constantly learning and not getting stuck because I cannot do something. Thank you for your enthusiasm and caring.

Day 8 into TAC and I’m feeling like it’s exactly what I need to get me off of the learning plateau that I’m on. I’ve been playing chords and strumming for a few years but felt stuck and bored. I’m sure TAC will keep me challenged and motivated. Bring it on, I’m ready!!

I really enjoy the small bits at a time approach which all comes together at the end of the week. This is a great way to build memory and technique. Also, being able to look at the tab and the video at the same time is ideal.

It’s the 10 minutes. I can get myself around and mentally commit. I find I’m making playing a priority. It’s always longer than 10 minutes. And so far I like the approach to play & learn as you do. Yes I would recommend this course.

Hey Tony. The thing that convinced me to join your group was the offer of the 5day free trial where you taught us how to play Friend of the Devil. That gave me a chance to learn your theory on how to play guitar. I’m very glad I did as I have learned so much useful information. To be honest, I’m finding much of the program above my skill level but I look forward to Monday because I’m determined to learn as much as I possibly can. I’m really impressed with how much thought you put into the whole process of learning. ☮️

Been a bassist for a long time and a humble rhythm guitarist for quite a while. But I committed to this program to increase my abilities to play some lead. Taking it slow and being patient with myself is somewhat challenging, but it has also been gratifying already.

I am a retired math teacher and have always been good at assessing strengths and weaknesses when it comes to designing curriculum for studying anything. Except it turns out for myself. I like the fact that this is an acoustic challenge, because I have a tendency to avoid acoustic because it harder to execute and make sound good. You can’t hide your bad technique. I also like that you started with the diatonic scale, so what you’re playing sounds musical in the very beginning. I was reticent to join in, but it is perfect for me, even though I’ve been doodling for 30 plus years. I like what you have chosen to start with and I enjoy persisting and making progress through things I usually avoid. Thanks, Brian.
