Hotel California is a favorite of mine. These lessons have given me the most enjoyment making my playing sound like progress This is my 2nd time through this lesson. I work on these lesson constantly and they never get tired. My fingers feel more nimble and my timing is getting better and better. The cord progressions provide the ground work for muscle memory while giving me a sound that is recognised

I am really enjoying Tony's Acoustic Challenge program. I like how it is structured in bite size lessons that are reasonable to learn to play quickly. Tony gives great advice on how to do the techniques that are being taught. The program uses common songs that are fun to learn. I think the idea of doing 10 minutes of practice a day consistently is really helpful for learning guitar along with making changes in life in general. I highly recommend TAC!

I have played guitar for years by ear and know a lot of cords but never have been able to learn the fretboard and utilize it. Until now! I love your method of teaching the fretboard! It’s what I have needed for years and could not find. Lots of “clicking and saying wow” as I go thru the fretboard lessons with you. Thanks,

Tony. So far im working my way through the basics. I find it difficult to make some of the power cord moves on the guitar. My hands get a little cramped up after working on it for 30 minutes. But I continue to move on. I see you have a TAC program but I don’t think I’m there yet. I’ll keep on keeping on.

Tony teaches pretty well, but, I have to admit it feels to me like I’m being left in the dust. He says “ok you got that, or, by now that’s muscle memory” and I still feel like I’m just plinking along. BUT, I do enjoy the course and would definitely recommend this course to somebody else. Plus, he’s right in what he says when he says if you go back over things it will seem a lot easier. All in all my slow learning is on me, not him.

I first picked up a guitar two months ago with no experience. I struggle with getting clean notes on cords with flat adjacent string, especially attempting cord transitions. my speed is slow and I also do not have enough fretting hand span for some of the stuff in the videos. But I am seeing progress. When I go back to prior lessons, I see I do them better than earlier efforts. Tony's coaching is encouraging and patient. I spend my minimum 10 minutes a day in front of the screen and practicing the lessons I am frustrated, but undeterred. I love this program and the way Tony teaches.

I am very happy with the progress I’ve made in one week! So far, I am following the course and learned to play a boogie type strum. I am still a little slow with it, but keep practicing every day. I have noticed each day’s practice becomes a little easier. My fingers are a little sore, but I feel that will get better with time. I’m looking forward to learning chords next week. Thank you so much, Tony!

Here I am, 8 weeks in. I think about the fact that I knew ZERO, zip, zilch when I started. The schedule is intense for a beginner because each day is something new, however I now know so much and sort of play blues riffs, a lot more chords, and the fun never stops! I look forward to opening the guitar case every day because I have a great coach. Thanks Tony!

I'm truly amazed with TAC methods of teaching, I'm eager for the next days lessons, yes I still struggle with somethings but believe in this system as its been only 2 weeks and see my own progress.Im also building my confidence weekly as well. As a 67 yr old I can see this method of teaching beneficial for any age. Thanks Tony

I am 67 years old and had started to learn the guitar with the basic chords A, Am, C, D and G. That is all good by strumming the chords, but I never learned the transitions nor proper techniques. Tony's TAC program teaches great techniques, for learning to play. When the program started into the Blues shuffle and Boogie, I thought this is too soon for something like this. However, every step of the way Tony assure us to trust the process and no matter how slow just stick with it. I truly enjoy this program and Tony's teach methods. He is for technique oriented and guides by example which most if not all of us are visual learners. I look forward to my guitar playing time every day! Thanks Tony for this TAC program!

I had retinol surgery in early January and continue to follow your program, but, a little slow as struggling with vision returning. I am learning at a slower pace, but, continue to work at it. The program is certainly improving my skills, but, I will advance slower than most........

I am enjoying the program.Seeing steady progress ….sometimes small but progress. Took me a bit to navigate the site but better now. I figured out a little hack when trying to remember fingering patternsI use a dry marker pen and write on the tab page till I get it. Easy erase and move on.

Well for it only being one week into the journey, the program is definitely living up to the hype. Each morning I really look forward to the new lessons and I even look forward to practicing a little at night before bed. I can't wait to see what's in store for the next couple of weeks of the 30 day challenge. Glad I signed up!

Only one week and I am enjoying the playing vs practice theory. I have never liked using a flat pick because it was harsh sounding to me. Well, I am using it now and since I am playing vs practicing, I am getting use to playing with it and it is not sounding so harsh to me. I have been a clarinet player in the past. I stopped playing when I was 18. Rebellious as I thought I was given no choice to play it as a minor. I missed music in my life so much, which is why I became interested in guitar. I also play piano, which to me is easier than guitar, but not as portable. I play for my own enjoyment, but if I can become good enough, I would like to be able to play for others also. This method actually gives me hope to be able to do this in the near future.

So far I like it, when I can play the Blues Boogie comfortably then I will be completely sold. Still would like to have other issues addressed, like stretching across frets and buzzing when trying to play the G chord.By far the best guitar course I've tried.

I researched and checked out multiple online guitar lessons and never found one that actually met my expectations. I took a chance that Tony’s Acoustic Challenge was different, and my gamble proved to be the best decision I could have made. I’m only in my second week, but I have found an understanding and enjoyment that I never found with other platforms. I’m 67 years old and just starting, but for the first time, I really believe that I am a musician and a guitar player.Thank you Tony. Without your talent my guitar would still be drying up in its case.

Tony the encouragement you give with each challenge is exactly what I needed.I received my first guitar when I was 9 or 10 . Took lessons in my late teens ,but never felt like I could keep up(my dad played all of his life)with a period of over 30 years not even owning a guitar.Recently I got back one of my guitars I bought new.My dad had saved it for me using it in jam sessions with friends. So after some time of reflection and plinking I came across Tony's Acoustic Challenge online. After multiple searches of many sites one thing stuck with me that Tony said and stressed ENJOY it.My dad enjoyed playing for almost 70 years from sing a longs with my siblings in the livingroom to playing with some of the greats in Bluegrass.Tony lets me know with each challenge it doesn't have to perfect and you may not get it the first, second or even the third time around and that's okay have fun and enjoy it.As for my progress in the first eight week or so I have gone from 5-10 minutes of playing a few c

I was the typical guitar dabbler for the past 25 years. Learned a few chords and did some finger picking, Then I bought a beautiful Martin D28 about 2 years ago. Started playing using a book written by a very religious classical guitar player. All the practice songs were hymns. Just not into that. Love Tony's style of teaching & using more contemporary music. So far, so good.

I love Tony’s presentations. I’m picking up the guitar after almost 50 years, so it’s a slow process and I’ve had to re-listen a few times. But the encouragement and explanations are excellent.

After a very long absence - around 30 years I decided I wanted to play guitar again. To say I'm struggling would be an understatement but I am making progress. I'll be 75 in May so getting my fingers to do what they used to is going to take some time and I am not one to give up.The lessons are great, one question when do I mark a lesson complete? I get to the point where I can do the exercise pretty consistently but nowhere close to the speed it should be. I know you say the speed will come so should I mark the lesson complete when I can play the lesson consistently?I haven't had the time to devote to this like I wanted but am going to adopt your mini habit to get at least 10-20 minutes of practice everyday.I would recommend your course to anyone wanting to re-learn or learn to play for the first time.Sam

Hi Tony, I’ve been on the program a few months. I’m learning things that are really helping my Guitar playing. I need the practice to keep up with my 11 year-old grandson, we have a guitar lesson at his school once a week. Thanks for all your consideration towards the retirees.

I am learning and practicing quite a bit with your lessons. I bought a guitar progression basic chord chart with the key, 3 principal chords, minor chords, and additional chords which really enhances your lessons with a quick reference to help me memorize. I am persevering and it seems to be paying off.
