So far good. I’ve been playing for a while but never really worked at it. Just a week in and I’m getting the 12 bar blues down. Feeling better every time I play. Looking forward to getting better and back into it. My goal is to one day play in an old man cover band!

I always wanted to learn to play the guitar, but I was hesitant to try because I am not well educated on reading music and am not musically gifted. At 67 years old, I feared my hands and my mind were no longer nimble enough to learn how to do play. My wife bought me my first guitar for our 40th anniversary. I immediately signed up for TAC after seeing some of the Facebook posts and consulting a performer friend who said that Tony was a great teacher. And she was right! It **is** daunting to try to stretch fingers to play chords, or to get clear and crisp notes while fretting. But Tony's constant encouragement and admonition that it is not only okay to be imperfect and experience difficulty has propelled me through my first week. I can already see a HUGE improvement, and am anxious to learn more!

TAC has changed the way I practice guitar. I look forward to a new challenge every week day and then I repeat the 5 lessons on the weekend. I’m having a lot of fun with it and Tony is so motivating. It’s also nice to know that I don’t have to be perfect to move on! I think this course is great for people like me who need steady guidance on what to practice and how. I also love that we learn from songs and learn different aspects of the song from strumming to soloing to embellishing chords, etc. The guitar stories are great as well! At first I was hesitant to sign up because I was afraid I would not stick with it but the opposite is true. Even after being away on a trip most of the month I could not wait to jump back in! Thanks Tony!

I'm a rank beginner to start. 3wks into the 30 days section. I've been a craftsman/ artist most of my life. A very visual learning person. I do woodworking ,chainsaw carvings, and a little timber framing as well. I started the Challenge to try to expand my creativity and focus . I've chosen to learn an instrument to that end. I like how Tony has this set up because it gets me out of my over analysis mode. I fumble with " Fat Fingers" when it comes to chords but have finally hit a G chord cord a few times. The C and D "not so much," yet. Ha. all in time. I'm committed to at least a full year . I suspect I'm hooked for a much longer term. FWIW: I'm 68yrs. old. thanks,Paul

I started guitar lessons 30 years ago. After less than a year, "life" and "more important things" got in the way. A few of months ago, I had a renewed interest in playing and decided to take a few lessons. The trouble was, the teacher wanted to teach me how to play a song, while I wanted to learn to play guitar. I saw a few "Play like Clapton in 30 days" type ads that, well, you know...Several YouTube comments highly recommended TAC. After watching a couple of Acoustic Tuesdays, I felt comfortable enrolling with TAC and I'm very glad I did. I'll never be "Clapton", but I'm learning and, best of all, having a great time!

I'm a long time "musician" (piano and trumpet through high school) so I read music and understand the theory. Been playing the guitar for 3 years (after a VERY long hiatus). My wife bought me a Taylor 215 CE Koa for Christmas 3 years ago and I've been trying to take the next step so I thought I'd give it a try. While some of the lessons are very basic I love the concept of playing for 10 minutes EVERY day! I'm progressing well and so far there hasn't been any "oh I can't do this" moments. I'm retired so unless I have something out of town I try and play every day. I looked up the fretboard wizard but honestly didn't feel the price was worth it since I already have the theory.....

Tony, you have such a great way to make beginners feel comfortable! When you say "You're a Guitar Player", I absolutely feel it. Thank you. I am having so much fun learning the Blues. I am even practicing more than 10 minutes. YAY!

Hey Tone I feel like I've already answered this inquiry. But as an afterthought I'd like to add - in addition to my pursuit of fulfilling a lifelong dream (we're talking more than 40 years of one way; some day). In the fall of 2025 I started taking my first face-to-face guitar lessons. My instructor is first a friend. He is also a K-12 guitar teacher -and- a professional musician. He frequently plays in one of several cantinas here in QRO, MX. In the short time I've been delving into TAC I feel as if I've learned more with TAC than I have in 6 months of weekly 1:1 lessons. #thankful

I really like the TAC program. This is my first time playing guitar and I feel like I'm making some nice progress. Finding it hard to find the time to be more consistent.

Love learning but having a hard time with fretboard wizard. Can’t seem to make my fingers spread as wide as required.

Tony, this has been almost perfect for me. The only problem I have is I can’t get the sheet music and your video up together on my iPad. Also I used to get one days lesson once a week when I went to someone so I’m not great at keeping up with the week. But knowing I can really go at my own pace is very gratifying. I bought a new Taylor 50th anniversary 912 ce and it sounds great! This method is perfect for my lifestyle and after setting down my guitar 30 years ago, my figers are working better and the little knowledge I retained has helped me to keep up to some degree.

I’ve done at least 10 minutes a day with a couple missed days along the way on the 30 day start up and the 5 day challenge. I certainly don’t feel like I mastered each of the lessons but believe in Tony that they will be used in the future and I’ll have an another go at the lessons. I’ve started the weekly’s and find it a challenge to go even at the slower pace but love the chord transitions the best. After tuning I just like to strum 8-10 different chords to practice transitions. Vacations will start to get in the way but when back home plan to do some reviews and further weekly challenges. Thanks Tony. Love your strategies and positive attitude. Regards, Bill

Have been through all the intro stuff. Ready to start the 30 day challenge but… I am going to Alaska for ten days and since my wife won’t let me buy a plane ticket for my new guitar, I am going to wait until mid June to start. Note, I am playing/poking everyday until I go.

I love everything about this so far and am eager to continue !! But right now, I'm confused about where to go next. I've completed the Course Overview, and the Primer: Tuning, Technique and Tab.Do I next complete the 5 Day Guitar Routine Challenge?Or go to Week 1 - Learn the Basics of Guitar with the Blues? Thanks for helping.

Learning the new finger position of chords makes it much simpler to change and keep the chord progression easier to follow! Thanks TAC

I have struggled to learn guitar off and on since 1978, lessons in the mid 80s, that just focused on learning a song, not mechanics, techniques, or Why's and How's. Guitar Friends that have helped, but not really teachers. I learned Cords and individual notes on the fretboard and I used the guitar "alone" as a meditation mostly just playing notes to song I love and trying to strum. The biggest thing was I never really knew what to do with my right hand. I have learned more in the past three weeks hear at TAC than I have learned in over 45 years and I have understood and enjoyed each lesson. I love how Tony breaks down songs into teachable learnable bites of Technique, Licks, Rythem, Cords, and more. It has helped me see music in a totally different way. I am having fun with my guitars again, instead of them collecting dust on a wall. I look foward every morning to getting up, getting my coffee and starting my next day at TAC. Thank you Tony for being the teacher that I have ne

I'm a total beginner. I've never really been passionate about playing. I'm a visual learner, artist, craftsman. I am a woodworker/chainsaw carver/timber framer. I'm hoping to learn to expand my creativity into this other realm. I'm 68 and wanted to learn an instrument. I have no grand dreams to become anything other than a casual player. It's a personal endeavor for me. Your course seemed low stress so I went with it. I'm glad i did. I like the " non perfectionist style to the lessons" although it is a challenge sometime for me not to lock into one thing until perfected. "Show up, trust the system, focus on the little wins." So far, so good. thank you for putting it together. I feel it's well worth the investment.

My first day today. 76yrs old. Was impressed by the detail and clarity of the lesson. Not too much talk, just enough to get the point across. I have played "with"(as opposed to "playing") the guitar for decades, never stuck with it. Trying again, really to try to get my hands a little more exercise, and maybe play a few oldies down the road. I have not been good at sticking with it. We'll see how it goes this time. Thanks Tony!

I am 67 years old and started playing guitar exactly 4 months ago. I did the 30 day challenge and the 5 day routine. I am finding that I cannot keep up with the daily challenges so I am going back and reviewing/practicing what has been presented so far. I can play individual notes and chords but my speed os sorely lacking. I continue to practice what I have learned (about 6 hrs per week) and will continue to saple the daily challenges until I can keep up.

TAC is my amazing journey to rekindle a true love for guitar. I’m back after about a twenty year layoff that was promoted by terribly expensive 1:1 lessons that were all over the map but never coherent. Tony brings an enjoyable means to grow my skills which enables me to move at my pace. I appreciate Tony’s teaching nuggets and encouragement to have fun—which I have even when my fingers suggest otherwise. My get in cost for TAC including fretboard is ABSOLUTELY worth every penny. I highly recommend TAC to any new or returning guitar player‼️‼️

I just finished the Blues Bogie and even thought my fingers are still not stretching properly, I was able to cheat a slightly and play it. I even changed things a little adding a few notes to make it sound better to my ear. This will be bad azz when I can speed it up.

A friend of mine who took this course talked me into it and I am glad she did. I have only been on it for a week and have learned more in this week than I did with private lessons. I am anxious to continue and learn more.

I was at first hesitate to join not really knowing the content that was available. Upon joining, I am blown away for the amount and detail of videos and tabs that show up each weekday. Knowing that new learning will be in my in box each morning is awesome. I've been playing for several years and want to learn soloing and scales in all keys to better play with others. Tony has it figured out, big toime! Thanks Tony, glad I joined.

For the first time in 20 years, I have been picking up my guitar and consistently playing. It reminds me of the movie "The Karate Kid" where the pupil does "tasks" to get your hands used to doing things (muscle memory) even though it is not obvious why you are doing it. I'm cautiously optimistic that these exercises will pay off down the road. Thanks, Tony

I started TAC on March 15, 2026. I’m on the Daily Challenges now.I had watched a few of Tony's videos on YouTube and I liked the way he presented himself and the lessons.I started playing guitar in December 1963, my senior year of high school.I got to college in the fall of '64, and “folk” music was all the rage. I joined and formed various folk groups for the next three years, while playing mostly 12-string rhythm guitar. In 1967 I briefly moved to Chicago, and used to play on the street corner in Old Town.In the fall of 1967 I got a special invitation from LBJ that I just couldn’t refuse. The next three years were spent daily dressing in green, including spending 13 months in S. Korea right after the Pueblo, our spy ship, was taken by the N. Koreans. The 12-string remained with me through the Army and the rest of my life.In 2005 I bought a six-string. I dabbled for about 3 years, but never got back to

Tony's method of teaching is low pressure yielding big results. Im having fun learning instead of pushing so hard. I love diving into real songs and sequences already as a beginner. The short lessons, adjustable playback video and pop out tab are helping me gradually learn a lot of skills all at once, rather than pushing really hard on one or two. It's fun and worth my investment. Id highly recommend this program to anyone.
