The first 30 days went by fast. I had fun learning for the first time after years of regret for not having learned earlier. Starting this at 62, now 63 seemed like maybe it wasn't something I was meant to do, but I decided that it really doesn't matter at all. Sure, my hands aren't as flexible as they once were, but I'm getting there. After the 30 days, I began the daily sessions and even if they were challenging, I did my best. My hands are small, and that's a challenge. I can't claim to be playing songs left and right. My chord speed just isn't there yet, but until a couple of weeks ago, when I sprained my left wrist(not playing guitar), I was keeping up pretty well. Some things are harder for me than others, but I do find time every day to pick up the guitar. I usually play for 45 min to an hour. I'm retired, so I have time. I realize there are no shortcuts to improvement at my age, but I'm up for it, even if I have to go back over things.
