It’s hard to find professionals you can trust to advise you in your best interest. I’m so grateful for Bellevue Westlake Dental and the consistent care they take in the best interest of their patients. Their philosophy is wholistic, preventative care, which is the least invasive and least expensive way to maintain your health and overall wellbeing. My father is a retired dentist, who I also worked with as a young adult. Given that, I have a pretty solid understanding of dental care. I was confident in my experience with Dr Don Blair. I quite frankly felt at a loss when he retired. I spent a some years trying out a few other dentists. During that time, one dentist did unnecessary work because I had “really good dental insurance” that would pay for it. Drilling into teeth that didn’t have cavities compromised the integrity of my healthy teeth! I left to find another dentist. The second dentist I tried insisted I needed regular periodontal care. I knew that was not true or accurate (just more expensive and profitable). I was mad because most people would not know they were being deceived. I walked away again. This time, I returned to Bellevue Westlake Dental staff and Dr James Choi, who Dr Blair, carefully selected and supported to continue his work with integrity. I’m so grateful for the care and effort of Dr Blair to find another professional he could trust! (So many others would just walk away and say, good luck, not my problem anymore.) Thank you Bellevue Westlake Dental, Dr Blair, Dr Choi, Charolette, Tammy and staff! You’ve got me and my family for good!

My dentist retired. He was our family dentist for 30 years.! And finding a new dentist was not a task I was looking forward to. I am so excited to have found Bellevue Westlake Dental. The front desk staff is fantastic. My 1st cleaning was excellent and unfortunately I had a small cavity (1st in 10 years) to fill and Dr Choi was excellent...I am very happy here and HIGHLY recommend them.

I am 73 years old he is the best Dentist I've ever been to in my life

To preface this review, I will admit that I am not the best patient. I was overdue for my dental visit but due to the covid 19 pandemic, I was hesitant to come in. Unfortunately I was having a toothache so I was motivated to be seen. I appreciated the covid screening done through my phone as I waited in my car prior to my appointment. As I walked into the office, I first noticed the beautiful and modern remodel. Then, I noticed the hepa filters and the plexiglass barriers. They also provided a gentle pretreatment rinse prior to being seen. I’m sure that there’s more that they’re doing to keep everyone safe but I may have missed it. All of this has made me feel very safe and well taken care of. This is even before being seen by dr Choi! He walked me through the diagnosis of my issue and provided an excellent treatment option. Fortunately he had an opening and I was able to be treated right there! I can’t stress this enough...DR Choi is a wizard at numbing. He takes the time to make sure it is as comfortable as possible and before you know it, he’s done numbing. Don’t think I didn’t notice the warm water he uses to rinse my mouth during my visit. Painless throughout the entire procedure. I have nothing to say other than this was an absolutely amazing experience. The details in his office and experience just show how much thought and care has gone into the entire patient experience. No one wants to have dental pain and the anxiety that surrounds it is real. Dr Choi and his staff have made this the most pleasant and painless experience it could have been. TL;DR painless experience, super safe covid protocol. Can’t recommend any more!!!!!! The best!

I’ve been going to Westlake Dental for many years and highly recommend them. All the people who work there are extremely caring and go out of their way to make sure your visit is pain free and comfortable. They have taken great care of my teeth over the years and aren’t aggressive about getting work done that isn’t necessary, a problem I had run into with other dentists. The hygienists are very nice and are very careful not to hurt the sensitive areas in my mouth. Give them a try - you won’t be disappointed.

Dr. Choi has been my dentist since I moved here from the eastcoast 2 years ago and my experience has been wonderful. Dr. Choi is a wonderful doctor....very friendly, caring and talented! Great location and everyone is kind and provides wonderful service.
