Placed my first order for both pork and beef box. When I arrived at farm store I easily found my order in the freezer with a wonderful welcome note. Since then we have been enjoying the meat. We were looking for higher quality then we have been finding at the grocery stores lately and we have not been disappointed. We look forward to ordering again. Very nice farm and store. You can tell that Joe and Hannah are passionate about providing healthy food to local families. They’re both very friendly and helpful. This was my first time buying 1/2 a hog and Joe talked me through my order on the phone, so that I was able to get the cuts I wanted. The pork is delicious and high quality. I’ll definitely be buying more of their pork and other options in the future! So grateful I found Wanda Farm! I hope to bring my boys in for one of their tours of the farm this year so that they can understand better where our food comes from and how important it is to choose well. My first time ordering from Wanda Farm and I am extremely pleased with the meats I ordered. I prepared the beef liver first , smothered with caramelized onions.... AMAZING ! Tender & sweet with amazing fresh flavor. Next I prepare the Beef Short Ribs, braised low & slow with just salt, pepper and a splash of beef stock & red wine. Once again so amazing , tender & flavorful on top of some rustic smashed potatoes... YUM. Now my husband is a hotdog anytime man , so I ordered the smoked beef hotdogs.... two weeks later and he is still talking about how delicious they were ! This weekend I'll be using the beautiful Oxtails in a been soup recipe Ive made for many years and I m sure they will be outstanding. I will definitely be purchaseing again and highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for pure delicious meats for your family.
