its built well, but if you're anything remotely over 200 lbs, broad shoulder or into fitness, it's a horrible fit. It's not made for anyone with bigger arms as it does not adjust large enough and cuts off the circulation to your arms and shoulders. The amount of give and play on the straps is laughable and wildly short, almost 5 to 8 inches short on each side.I want to like it but not made for larger broad shoulder people.

We ended up returning product as it didn't fit us but I can't give them less than 3 stars purely because of good customer service . They answered messages with questions right away and the return process had a few steps but it was not that bad and didn't cost a fortune. As to why it didn't work for us - my husband is big and fat, and mostly top heavy (think rugby prop) and the carrier didn't have enough material to go around his chest /armpits without severely digging in .It fitted me but it wasn't a gift for me so we returned it. 10/ 10 for customer service, product not suited for bigger men.

Purchased used via Facebook not directly through them and appears I have a bit of an older model but my 22 pound daughter is reclined to far causing a lot of pressure on my chest and her belly strap to ride under her arms pits. If I reach up and hold her more upright comfort greatly increased. Watching their new product video these issues might have been fixed. Was very nice too have my lower back open to air. Will help a lot with heat this summer. Cant wear for more than 30min though :(

Honestly I wanted so badly to love it. It's a great idea and I love the freedom of having the child sit on the shoulders and be hands free. It just hurts so bad! I got one of the older models so there's no weight distribution system. My shoulders start killing me after about 5 minutes of wearing even my 6 month old in this thing. My husband has a bit more endurance, so he can do about 15-20 minutes with our two year old, but the metal frame directly on our collar bones is just too much. I've been bruised for several days after a hike of wearing my baby for almost an hour, whereas in a front facing fabric carrier I can go much more time with some discomfort and no pain. I'd love to try one of the new models that they've made better than ours, but I'm too afraid to spend the money on it only to risk hurting. I'd even be happy to exchange it for a newer model (haven't asked if that's possible yet...) it's just sitting in the closet reminding me of how much I wish it would work for us.

Is there not a issue with height safety, I walk through a door a 6.2” baby will get a very sore head? Could apply to wires, branches etc. Just a thought.
