I moved across the country and had no idea what to expect from Utah, but staying here was the perfect situation. Emmeline & Joanne are wonderful hosts and super accommodating. The cats are amazing, and I’m not even a cat person. Fully furnished and has pretty much anything you could need for a comfortable living situation. Very thankful for the time I spent living here, as it helped me gain my footing and get settled as I started my new life in Utah.

Living with Jo and Em was such a great experience! Honestly the best housemates you could ask for - kind, considerate, genuine and very clean/tidy. They were respectful of my space, but also welcomed me like family and it felt like home. I’m also in love with their cat Bumi, he is the cutest!

I had the chance to stay with Em & Jo for my first few weeks living in the Salt Lake Area, and am so so glad to have found them! They were both wonderful hosts with a BEAUTIFUL home and they truly make you feel like a part of that home. Theyve become great friends and I’d reccomend the Millcreek Homestay to anyone!

Emmeline and Joanne were great hosts, and the location is perfect if you want to be able to access some of slc's awesome climbing gyms in ~15 minutes driving. Super cute cat as well

Staying at Emmeline and Joanne’s was the perfect way to spend my time in SLC. The space was incredible, with a private downstairs unit that let me catch up on some sleep and get work done and a beautiful open main floor to spend them with friends and relax. The unit is super modern and clean and well equipped with coffee supplies for addicts like me. They were incredibly accommodating hosts, with great tips and recommendations for how to get the most out of the city and I loved snuggling on the couch with Bumi, their cat. Would absolutely recommend connecting with Joanne and Emmeline if you’re passing through SLC, whether its for a couple days or a couple months, you’ll be in good hands!

I stayed with Jo and Em in for a month on a whim not knowing anything about SLC and ended up wanting to live there. They’ve explored Utah and can give recommendations on all the nearby outdoor activities. I had a lot of fun talking to them throughout the day but also appreciated the privacy I had by having my own room and bathroom on a separate floor. Their house is beautifully styled and in a convenient location. Also Bumi is the chillest cat I’ve ever met.
