Tony this introductory lesson on the Musical Alphabet is absolutely crucial. I covered the Musical Alphabet theory in the Original Fretboard Wizard, although it was differently presented.These FIVE PATTERNS are invaluable to know, as an additional guide to find any note on the GUITAR FRETBOARD!THANK YOU SO MUCH TONY!

I could not be more excited, like waking up on Christmas morning. Having taken the Fretboard Wizard 1 course several times and already had a preset expectation for FW2, I was surprised and delighted with the material and presentation. It is clear, from the start, that you put considerable thought into FW2, the material was clean, and there were small wins from the beginning. The material included was “spot-on,” and although I already had an understanding of the material, I am 100% convinced that I conceptually understand it now. Day 1 was a complete success, and I would recommend this course, as I did FW1 to everyone wanting to understand Guitar Theory.

Competed Fretboard Wizard in about six weeks. Being new to TAC, I first started with the "30 Days to Play" tutorial by Tony (a great review for me). I used Saturdays to work through the six sections of the Fretboard Wizard. Have attempted all the Daily Challenges during the weeks since starting TAC. In this course I was totally shocked to discover I do NOT have a bad ear for hearing a key note (with an assist by the guitar). Tony has taught me how to find the key of any music composition by using the fretboard. The Chord Matrix and Nashville Numbering System are great tools I will continue to use. The downloads provided are wonderful references for me - especially the CAGED System and Improvisation Framework. All this information was totally new to me. I believe the Fretboard Wizard material will be the "Holy Grail" for my guitar and songwriting success. This course all came together in the last section for me. The quizzes are helpful and actually fun to do. This has been a great introduction to recognizing the notes of the fretboard, basic music theory and beginner songwriting for this novice guitar geek. Old dogs can learn new tricks! Plan to repeat this course periodically as there is a wealth of information to master. 🎸Play on!

I just completed Tony's Fretboard Wizard coarse. I do not have a music background and am just learning how to play the guitar. Some of the topics covered in the Fretboard Wizard coarse includes understanding scales, chords, figuring out what key a songs is in, the chord progression in the song and how to transpose the song to a different key. Some great important theory in understanding music and some fun challenging lessons in determining song keys and chords by ear. If you don't have a background in music theory I would recommend taking this coarse.

I found Tony's Fretboard Wizard course to be extremely fulfilling. One of the things this course gave me was a foundation in GUITAR BASED music theory, which I never had. Thanks to Tony's unique teaching style, I was able to put a lot of things together, musically speaking, and apply the things I learned in the real world. For instance, I'm now able to listen to a song and figure out the key, the chord progression, and I have the ability to easily change that key and associated chord progression if I want or need. The thing I'm most excited about is I now have the confidence and tools to create and write my own music. How cool is that! If you haven't taken this course, beginner or well rounded player, then you are really missing out on one of TAC's best offerings. Honestly!
