Great tutorial for a beginner. I learned a lot of it especialy using stencils. Also the hessian like cloth was a good exercise. In short you're the best.

I can't say enough about this course, and was particularly impressed with how the finished render turned out. Now sure, I did follow Zach's instructions every step of the way, but it brought home to me that I could actually create a beautiful piece of 3D 'art' using Blender. Some longish tutorial series can be a bit of a grind but Zach's relaxed teaching style and obvious technical knowledge makes for an enjoyable experience all the way through. Do this course. You won't be disappointed ... and I'd almost guarantee you'll sign up for one or more of CG Boost's other offerings.

It is really good. I haven't finished it yet. But that is more my fault with life getting in the way. I am struggling with the texturing. But that too I think some of it is due to all the changes that have come to Blender. They have been coming more rapidly. So some things have been moved around a bit or labeled a little differently. As a newbie, if I can't follow exactly as it is done when trying to learn a skill. It can trip me up rather badly. Even more so for me, as I'm slightly dyslexic. So when things get moved about, it makes it a little harder for me. But I'll get there eventually. :-) But in general, the explanations and showing of how things are done, for the most part are very well done and fairly easy to follow. Unlike some who skip a step, telling you to look at an old video that only partly tells you how to do the step now, as it is outdated. Everything is done step by step. Wish there were more teachers on the net like this.

This course was my best course ever when I first got introduced to Blender. Actually, it's what motivated me to go for the Blender Launch Pad course. The lighting techniques there in are really magical. The texturing techniques too are so powerful. I would recommend this free course for any beginner, and thereafter I advise them to go for the Launch Pad course.

Best course available for the price (free). All downloadable and has excellent clear and easy to follow instructions. Have recommended to others before. Keep up the good work, everyone at CG Boost.

This is the perfect course for the beginner with little 3D knowledge. Not only it shows smoothly "how to do things" while explaining various aspects of 3D workflow, but it also let you create a great render which looks good and which you can be proud of. 5/5, definitely recommended!
