I have been a patient since 2015 and I can't say enough good things about Johanne or Harlem Chi. We are so lucky to have her in the neighborhood! If you are suffering from any kind of pain, stress or chronic health issues, I highly recommend that you book a few appointments and give acupuncture a try. It's much more affordable than surgery or medications—and so much better for your health and wellbeing. Thank you Johanne, you are amazing!

This week, I injured my shoulder at the gym and deciding to use it as an opportunity to try acupuncture. I received strong recommendations for Harlem Chi Community Acupuncture. I found the office to be very clean and calming, Ms. Picard-Scott highly professional and thoughtful, and the experience overall very positive. I look forward to returning.

Johanne knows how to treat the body gently and with purpose. I never feel rushed, though I feel I am on the path to recovery. The open setting of the treatment/care room is an added benefit; you feel the energy of healing all around you, and yet, there is privacy. I am so glad to have discovered Harlem Chi.

Nothing less than seriously effective. Surgery and pharmaceutical (pain)killers with unpleasant side effects, debt and no idea if it would work was my 1st option when I doubled over in excruciating back pain. A champion healer is in Harlem.

I started going to Harlem Chi a few months ago for general wellness postpartum and am amazed by how wonderful I feel every time. The space is extremely calming and as soon as Joanne inserts the needles (which hurts every time because she goes deep, but it's totally worth it) I fall into a deep trance. I sleep well after the sessions and find each visit to be extremely relaxing. Highly recommend this place!
