Affordable quality Care. Great advice given. Very knowledgeable, other alternative therapies available such as Chinese medicine, moxibustion, massage and Reiki. I received a Reiki session once and it was very very intuitive and good.

I have been to Harlem Chi five times so far for various issues such as sciatica and shoulder pain.
The space is bright airy and calming and Johanne has a gentle and attentive manner.
Most recently I went because I was experiencing severe insomnia for two weeks. I had one treatment and slept 10 hrs that night. Since then I’ve slept the deepest best sleep I have had in a long time. Highly recommend.

I have been to Harlem Chi about 6 times. It’s a relaxing and pleasant environment. The best part was the effectiveness of the acupuncture. I had some specific issues, and in each case Johanne significantly helped me. She really knows what she is doing. I highly recommend seeing her.

I'm in good health, but when I was in my late 60s I began to have the minor aches and pains that I thought were normal for a man my age. When I first went to Harlem Chi more than four years ago, Johanne did an amazing (to me) job of helping me to reduce those age-related aches and pains. With Johanne's expert help, I'm looking forward to many more years of limberness and mobility with little or no discomfort.

I needed a reset in my life so my boyfried treated me to Harlem Chi. There are things that I want to do, however, I couldn't exacly connect the dots to make it happen... It should be like Nike --- just do it! However, I find myself challenged to just do it... I spoke with Johanne for a while, she then led me to the treatment room. I leaned back and let Johanne do her thing. I'm still processing the experience, which was totally Zen and will return next week, but I'm toally pleased.

I had a nasty case of bronchitis that required antibiotics. Yet the cough persisted, even thought the infection was gone. I finally was able to get to Harlem Chi for a treatment. It is miraculous. It just feels like Johanne rebalanced the energy so the excess coughing just did not need to happen. I mean, after nearly two weeks, finally, acupuncture just turned it around. Now, I will continue with treatments to make sure this re-balance stays. Truly remarkable and very grateful.

Living and working in NYC can be very stressful,and I was looking for some natural solutions.
I'm in Harlem and stumbled onto Harlem Chi, and made a appointment.
With no idea as what to expect, I was consulted with, and through a series of visits, my stress level is lower, my sleep is much better, and little aches and pains are hardly noticeable.
I'm such a fan, I've purchased packages for my staff, and we all just LOVE it.

Due to some family emergencies and the flu, not to mention the polar vortex, I was not able to see Johanne. Finally was able to get to her lovely and spacious treatment room, with a bunch of odd complaints that had me feeling not so well. After her treatment, I felt absolutely reborn!

I just had my third visit with Johanne after not making an appointment for awhile. I always intended to get back to Harlem Chi and I'm so glad that I did. I was just diagnosed with a slipped disc and although my back wasn't feeling as bad...when my appointment was over I didn't feel any discomfort at all. I felt relaxed and at peace...Amazing! I also slept like a baby that night. The atmosphere is also very tranquil. I will make sure to continue my sessions with her!
