A few months ago, I was looking to get my first eMTB after being off the pedals for close to 10 years. Having dealt with only specialised ebike stores in the past, I reached out to contacts in the industry who sold Focus, Orbea, R&M, and some other less known brands, but found my way to Trek and the Rail 8 Gen5. At first I was extremely hesitant approaching Trek because I didn't classify them as a specialised ebike seller.
On first contact, Nick was fantastic. Great person to deal with, and was very accommodating with all the additional equipment I was adding such as the Shimano Di2, and Supernova lights and additional battery packs. The whole experience went smooth. A big shout out to Omar and Charles, the techs who put the bike and all the accessories together (lots of custom wiring!). Rode it back, which was a good 80km, and the Rail performed extremely well. There was only one slight hiccup with the updating of the Di2 Derailleur which I needed to do after picking up the bike to allow automatic shifting on the Bosch controller. Some slight rubbing on the brakes, which I need to adjust. Otherwise I am absolutely stoked.

Had a great experience with Trek servicing. I went with the Level 2 service for my bike and level 1 for my son’s bike, and the whole process was smooth and efficient. The team identified that one of the tyres needed replacing and took care of it without any hassle.
What really stood out was the quick turnaround — both bikes were serviced and ready on the same day, which was very convenient. Overall, professional service, clear communication, and quality workmanship. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve only been riding for about 6 weeks since getting my Madone from this Trek store, and the customer service has honestly been exceptional from day one.
A huge thank you to Harry, who looked after me right at the start of the purchase process, and especially Bevan, who has consistently gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely looked after as a new road cyclist. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, always happy to answer my endless questions, and has been such a big help with everything from setup advice to bike fit guidance.
What really stood out was how the team handled a recent bike scare. After a persistent creak had me worried about possible frame damage, Bevan helped fit me back in quickly and made sure the bike was properly checked again. Soroosh, who worked on it, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, methodical, and clearly very experienced. He took the time to work through the issue properly, explain what was happening, and ultimately traced it to the rear axle interface, which immediately solved the problem. What could have turned into a really stressful and expensive situation ended up being a simple fix because of the team’s expertise.
Throughout the whole experience, everyone has been friendly, welcoming, and genuinely focused on what’s best for the rider rather than upselling unnecessary work.
Couldn’t recommend this Trek store highly enough — easily some of the best customer service and workshop support I’ve experienced. Looking forward to bringing the bike back for its first full service at the end of the month.

Had a great experience at Trek Turramurra, thanks to Guy and the team.
Their product knowledge is seriously impressive - you can tell they really know the bikes inside out, not just the specs but how everything actually rides and fits in the real world.
I’m between two bike sizes, and what really stood out was the effort they went to - they built up bikes in two different sizes for me to check. That made a huge difference in getting the right fit and feeling confident in the decision.

The best companies aren’t just the ones that always get it right. Sometimes things go wrong and the best companies step up and take accountability if it’s their fault. Trek Sydney have always got it right but last week there was a mistake made. They took ownership of the issue, doubled down to not just make me whole but to go above and beyond. I highly recommend this bike store and will continue to give them my bike to service. Thanks guys, keep up the amazing work.
