I have a Giant Roam 2 that has done a significant number of kilometres (purchased in 2014) since the last 'proper' service. After seeing what they did compared to other bike shops, dropped in during a weekend cycle to get an idea of what I would be up for. Expecting that I would need the Level 3, I was surprised when they talked me down to a Level 2, indicating that the Level 3 wasn't needed (never been downsold before).
Booked it in and dropped it off the night before. Had a phone about lunchtime the next day to let me know what was needed (surprisingly very little). Collected the bike that afternoon and despite it being 11.5 yrs old it looked like new. Even though I didn't need them immediately, I grabbed a couple of new tyres/tubes as I was offered a 20% if purchased in conjunction with the service.
The proof was in the pudding with a 40km shakedown ride the next morning, where it performed superbly, with nice crisp gear changes and precise steering.
Extremely impressed with the quality of the work and reasonable price.
