Before join Betr I spent the last 3yrs dealing with joint pain and major inflammation. I was usually at a 8 or 9 out of 10 in pain. At times I could barely walk because my back, hips, and ankles hurt so much. Since starting the Betr program my inflammation has gone down tremendously. My pain level is now a 1 or 2 and I’m barely in my third week of this program. I’m so grateful for everything I’m learning and this is definitely a lifestyle change for me that I am gladly making.

Finally, a nutrition program that resonates with me. I find Gut Health and Food as Medicine to be a common-sense approach to eating healthy. It is certainly working for me. Along with eating well and dropping 15 pounds during level 1, I’m enjoying the time in the kitchen cooking and explore different combinations of food from the level 1 Baseline Food List. The mason jar salads have been a lifesaver. I’m feeling good moving to level two and discovering how different foods affect me. And my coach, Marilie has been wonderful. Encouraging me, answering questions, and making sure I stay on track. When I had some splurging moments at a party or on a trip and I ate some foods off the list, she just reminded me to “do Betr” and offered some suggestions. Just the right balance of motivation and direction. Go Marilie! It is now becoming second nature to read food labels and ask for special preparations when ordering food out. I’m a middle school teacher so you can imagine how important it is to keep my energy up. I am getting through the day easily and getting a good amount of sleep most nights. Planning and correcting student work lead to some late nights, but by morning I am ready to go. I’m looking forward to exploring all the new combinations of food I will discover when phasing in food on the level 2 baseline list. Thanks, Marilie, and Thanks Betr Heath for the positive lifestyle change I’m making. I’m looking forward to continuing the program.

Betr health helped me identify foods that I am sensitive to. It helped reduce my cravings and get off sugar. I lost 10 lbs on L1 and gained a clearer mind and fitter body. I feel better than I have in years! This is a definite lifestyle change for the Betr!

I have enjoyed the meals. I have chosen a vegan diet. The recipes are wonderful. I no longer experience cravings because I feel full after eating. This is a miracle because I used to be a grazer. Having to take a picture of each meal and submit is a great idea. It forces me to be accountable.
