I recently bought a brand new Trek Marlin 5 from Trek Richmond. However, I realized the bike came with a different, cheaper brake that wasn't working properly compared to the one promised in the showroom. Trek Richmond told me to get it changed and directed me to another Trek store.
When I arrived there, it seemed they weren't happy about changing the brake since I didn't buy the bike from them, even though the issue wasn't my fault. They changed the brakes and I picked up the bike and headed back home, only to find that the brake cable wasn't fitted well and was touching the wheel.
Trek Richmond advised me to bring the bike back to them. Long story short, I spent 4 days and more than 3-4 hours total on the road dealing with issues for a brand new bike. I wanted to enjoy my annual leave and go on a bike trip with my partner, but I ended up spending my time dealing with these problems instead. It's been a big disappointment.
