All the weekly sessions are very helpful and well structured to maximize the learning ability. Richard always have ongoing energy to keep the session engaged. The metalanguage cheatsheet is extremely helpful.

As a student of Richard, these tutoring lessons are well structured to maximise the learning and assistance between Richard and myself. Within my lessons, Richard uses many limited resources like past VCE examinations and online texbooks to extract examples and activities. Additionally, I am provided with easily accessible lesson documents and multiple English Language cheatsheets to help me grasp this subject even more. Finally, my lessons with Richard are in a safe and genuine zoom environment, as well as me being assured that I can come to Richard with any misconception or schoolwork I need help with.

Incredibly helpful tutor. Knows everything surrounding the subject and helped a lot with the areas I was struggling in. The extra cheatsheets he provides were also super useful for studying and understanding the metalanguage and gave me a complete guide on writing AC's. Would highly recommend!

Richard is not only a highly capable English Language tutor with a vast understanding of all aspects of the course, but is also excellent at explaining these topics and tactics in a variety of ways to ensure I fully understood the concept or idea.
Richard has a wide range of resources at his disposal including summary sheets of the relevant metalanguage and instructions with step by step walkthroughs of how to write a high scoring analytical commentary or expository essay.
Richard is highly devoted to seeing his students excel, going out of his way to assist and advice, even outside of tutoring hours.
Throughout all our sessions, Richard brought this energy and air of confidence which he was able to impart onto me; he gave the impression that English Language, with the correct guidance, is straight forward and manageable.

Richard’s English Language tutoring was the best thing to happen to me in 2020. His methods of teaching and interacting with me before each lesson, after each lesson and even out of session times, greatly helped me push through the hurdles of Year 12 English and to continue striving for my goals.
