If you're taller than 6ft, they don't stock any bikes big enough for you to try. Staff didn't seem particularly knowledgeable either. I'd go elsewhere if you want expert advice or if you're of above average height.

Normally really friendly but today I experienced non-existent customer service by the assistant who told me I could 'take it or leave it' before stropping off like a teenager when I expected a Camelbak to be sold with a bladder... nice.
I prefer my LBS to Chain Reaction but he's made it difficult for me to want to return.

At least one of the mechanics has been rude and patronizing in several occasions. He has, in my opinion, poor customer service skills and can't really be bothered even to try to help a customer in need, or decline a request politely without sounding confrontational, or call when he says he would and order things when he said he would. In my last experience I got back my bike in worse conditions than when I brought it in and dangerous to ride. Does this person know the meaning of safety and integrity? Fortunately there are other bike shops in Bristol.

Enquired about a replacement rear shock. Sent various pictures by email and had to call them as I got no reply after 3 weeks.
They then asked me to bring my bike in so they can measure it to get the order for the part, after another 3 weeks and I call them again and they told me they could not find the part and just did not get around to call me.
