Van Horn replaced our roof last summer, and we could not have been more happy with the whole process. Silas comes out and explains the whole process, and is very responsive and stays in touch. They also preformed some additional chimney flashing work which turned out very nice. The crew was very professional and fast, in and out in one day. used a trailer rather than a dumpster which is nice because it doesn't damage your driveway like a roll off can. They really know their stuff. Highly recommended.

I can assure you, if you hire Silas from Van Horn Construction to manage your project you will have nothing to worry about. My insurance company had sent a letter denying my roof. I was referred to Silas who worked tirelessly to attempt to overturn their decision and at the same time kept my insurance agent and myself in the loop with continual updates. Months later he was successful in overturning their original decision. Once the roof was scheduled, Silas was on-site making sure my home was protected and coordinating the crew. I was shown photos of before and after of the work done and couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Silas's very strong work ethic, excellent knowledge of his business, amazing patience with his client and the insurance company throughout the process, and great customer service was remarkable. Love my new roof and can highly recommended Van Horn Construction!

Sy helped us through the process of having our roof covered by insurance when other companies had told us our roof didn't qualify to be covered by insurance. He helped us get the roof covered and even worked with our insurance company to get us new gutters and a new garage door thanks to hail damage. He saved us a ton of money and it was nice to work with the owner of the company even though insurance slowed things down. The work his team did really improved the curb appeal of our house.

We received quotes for a new roof from 3 companies in addition to VanHorn Construction. Sy (VanHorn) was the only one to tell us our roof had enough damage to likely be covered by insurance while the other three gave us quotes to pay out of pocket. I understand that the insurance process slows things down but it was so nice to save the money on the roof that we ended up having soffit and fascia done with VanHorn as well. We worked with Sy through the entire process and he was very responsive when we had questions. Great work by Sy's team!

Van Horn Construction did an awesome job repairing our roof and complete siding install due to storm damage. Kelly was very responsive and worked with us to ensure the insurance company properly covered all storm damages. Sy and his crew did an awesome professional job on the roof and siding. Sy ensured all of our design alteration requests for the siding were executed to our expectations. We have received lots of compliments from neighbors and friends. I had hail damage on my house 18 months ago. Van Horn inspected my roof and helped me navigate getting approval from my insurer: which took 3 inspections and going to arbitration. I really appreciated this time investment even before I had approval for a new roof. The roofing process itself was outstanding! Great communication throughout the process. They showed up on time, were very polite and there was an on site manager that answered all my questions. They did a good job protecting my house from any unintended damage: covering windows, doors, patios even my garden beds so nothing was damaged during the tear-off process. The clean up was impeccable. I’m a gardener and I was really impressed that they went through the yard and beds with a magnet broom to pick up any loose nails. Overall a positive experience from beginning to end. I Highly recommend Van Horn construction!
