I would like to start out by saying that Van Horn Construction is AWESOME! They're a great team to work with, quick to respond back when you have a question or concern. I was in the middle of selling my house and my buyers wanted the roof repaired. It was already stressful enough selling my house and now on top of that I had to deal with roof repairs and dealing with insurance. I called a couple of roofing contractors and Van Horn was the only one the reply back that day. We were able to schedule for an inspection 1-2 days later, Kelly is who came out. He did the inspection, guided and informed me about the next steps. Kelly is very knowledgeable, worked with the insurnace adjuster. After the claim being approved, the roof installation was scheduled one week out and completed just in one day. Last but not least, I want to say Thank You to Sy. I had my two little ones with me and instead of having my drive all the way to their office to make the final payment, he was kind enough to meet me somewhere closer to my new house. I would highly recommend Van Horn Construction to anyone who is looking for a professional and knowledgeable team to work with.

I was thrilled with this company. They were timely and professional. They also were easy to have around and somehow found a way to do the tear off, re-roof and clean up all in the same day. As it got late in the day and it started to get dark, they brought another crew over that had just finished another job to make sure that they could get it done in one day, just like they had promised. I would highly recommend them.

After selling our house, it was requested by the buyer to have the roof inspected for storm damage and life expectancy. I reached out to multiple companies with no response from anyone. After reaching out to Sy at Van Horn Construction, he responded within the hour and was at our place the very next day. Sy's expert knowledge showed right away. Sy had in hand documentation about our property and was fully aware of any possibility of storm damage that may have happened with in the last two years. Luckily, in our case, Sy found no damage and sent us his full report. Keep in mind this was all free of charge and still took time out of his busy schedule. Van Horn Construction helped us a ton and did a great job! Prior to working with Van Horn, our insurance company had denied our roof claim saying that our roof “did its job” in absorbing a hail storm in spite of what we thought to be solid evidence of hail damage. Van Horn Construction helped us to reapply for a second inspection from our insurance company and to get approval by personally advocating for us. The work that they did in the reroof and gutters was top level. We had some issues with our roof that became apparent as shingles were removed. I appreciated their attention to detail and professionalism with which they handled it. They don’t overlook things that are convenient to overlook. To me, this translates to peace of mind. We felt supported in the process and that they were fair and responsive. The roof and gutters look great and function better than ever. Highly recommend.

I was in need of a contractor that would stand up for me and make sure that I got what I deserved from my Insurance company. They had denied my claim in the past while everyone else in my area got new roofs and I didn’t want that to happen again. Silas took charge of my situation and got everything approved even though it was the same adjuster that had denied me before.
