The staff was courteous and efficient. Dr Otterberg was very personable and pleasant. He took his time and did not rush through the appointment. I would highly recommend them.

MD West One is an excellent option for TKR total knee replacement surgery. I naturally went to them after a very good experience with Dr. Rosipal with my shoulder repair in 2014. Dr. Otterberg is an amazing surgeon. He didn’t push me to get a replacement and wanted to try all the alternative options before recommending me for replacement. His coaching through surgery and follow up was on target. I took physical therapy seriously and it paid off. He even released me to go deer hunting 6 weeks after surgery. I hope I never have to have my other knee replaced but if I do I know who I want to do it.

Check in was quick and easy. Appointment on time. Took some x-rays and that was all good. Met with Dr. Otterberg and that was a very good meeting. He was friendly, understanding and told me what I needed to know about my knees and what was best for me to do. Thanks Dr. Otterberg !!!

I have been seeing Dr. Otterberg for many years. He replaced my left knee on 2010, now I am having issues with my right knee. There's no other orthopedic doctor for me. I consider Dr. Otterberg my friend. I am so pleased with my left knee. In the past and now that I am receiving injections in my right knee, I may be in pain when I go into his office, but when I leave, it's gone. He's the best!!!

Seven weeks ago I had my arthritic right hip replaced by Dr. Otterburg and it was the easiest thing I have ever done. Today , I reached my goal, I walked, without a cane or walker, around the full block and without pain. Before surgery I had a hard time just walking to the mailbox at the bottom of the driveway. I couldn't ask for a better Dr and staff..Very professional and friendly. Always there when you need them I got my right hip done by Dr Otterberg years ago he did a excellent job I had no problems after surgery and I could walk with no problems no pain.. Now i need left hip done and I wouldn't want anyone else to do it but him..Thank you for your great work Dr Otterberg

My pre-op meeting with Dr Otterberg was held at the Farnam Clinic. I was welcome to my appointment by a nurse right on time at 9:30. She a few preliminary health measurements and said Dr O would be in in a few minutes. He entered shortly after the nurse left. His friendly welcome helped me relax. First, he thoroughly explained my upcoming procedure. Then , he said it was my turn to ask any questions I had. For about 10-12 minutes, he gave me his full attention and answered all of the questions I had written down and also a few others. I never felt rushed or that he had another appointment to hurry off to. In the end, my questions were all answered and I was very confident my procedure would good just as planned. I’d highly recommend the doctors and staff of MD West One!

After almost 10 years of avoiding a total knee replacement I am now 4 months out from the surgery. Dr. Otterberg has been stellar throughout! Thanks to the staff at MD West One, Midwest Surgical Hospital and Physical Therapy Works I have been doing extremely well and am extraordinarily grateful to be mobile, active, moving without pain and happy!

I’ve seen Dr Tiedeman and Dr Otterberg for my hands wrists and hips. They are both very professional ,caring doctors. Wouldn’t go anywhere else They know what they are doing and talk to you in terms you can understand. It’s a bit of a drive for me but so worth it
