I had recent hip replacement surgery that had been successful until a serious fall part way into the recovery meant that a second surgery would be required. My orthopedic surgeon at MD West One is Dr. Erik Otterberg, and he and his very capable staff, have provided the very thorough diagnostics and care that were needed following that fall. I will soon receive a second surgery to repair the damage that resulted from the fall, and I am extremely grateful for the followup care that I am receiving from Doctor and his staff. This is a follow up to the previous submittal, and with it I am reporting that I have now had the revision hip replacement and it is going extremely well. The surgical portion has been absolutely flawless and is now pain free. My overall recovery has been slowed by a 25 year old spinal cord injury but I am now receiving physical therapy for that as well, and have expectations of soon being able to walk with the assistance of only a cane. Again, I have nothing but high praise and deep appreciation for Dr. Otterberg and his staff.

Pleasant support staff, seemed tense, maybe rushed? Dr Otterberg is great! I didn’t need invasive procedures or surgery, thank God! Dr Otterberg explained how my knee had responded to severe trauma and exactly what to do and approximately how long it will take for my knee to get back to normal. Three weeks after my first visit my knee is 65% better! Still have a way to go, but I’m happy!

I'm always greeted promptly by the receptionist. My appointments are on time and both the nurse and Dr. Otterberg treat me with respect and kindness. Time is taken to answer questions and I have been happy with my treatments.
