DEC 2024 - Your products are of a good quality and are priced competitively. What sets you apart for me is how exceptionally good your service department is. An example follows. This past Monday, a group of friends and I had a long bike ride in the morning. Since I was planning on riding Tuesday morning, I went out to the garage Monday night to prep my bike. I noticed I had a flat. I changed out the tube and went to bed. On Tuesday morning, I went back out to the garage and saw that I had another flat. So, I again changed the tube. While pressuring up the tire, that tube failed/ruptured. I was now out of tubes. So I drove down to the Trek shop and was there when it opened at 10 AM. I was greeted by Anthony, a service tech. He is exceptional. He got me all fixed up and I was out the door in short order. Even better, I was able to get a 35 mile ride in Tuesday night. So that’s what Trek means to me - it has the products and services that I need to get back out on the road.
SEP 2024 - I own a mountain bike and the other morning as I was preparing to ride, I noticed that my rear tire was flat. I changed it out, remounted the tire and discovered that my second inner tube was also flat. At that point, I’d run out of inner tubes for my bike. Off I went to Trek located near 99 and I-10 in Katy. As I walked into the store, I was greeted by Anthony. He was both managing the front area as well as working as a repair tech. Simply put, he was outstanding, an excellent communicator, highly technically skilled and very patient. In addition to the one or two sharps that I’d found and removed from the tire myself, he found an additional three or four more. It’s my sense that it was one of those that caused my second flat. He took the time to walk me through the correct steps to be followed when fixing a flat and remounting a tire. While I had replaced inner tubes and remounted tires before, it was an excellent refresher. Again, all in all, it was a very successful and rewarding visit with an excellent result. I rode my “repaired” bike for 30 miles that afternoon. Trek has been my go-to bike company for the last 15 years, including when they were on Mason Road. I purchased my mountain bike from Trek, including biking equipment and routine maintenance work. They have consistently provided excellent service and support. And, circling back to Anthony, he gets my unreserved recommendation for any and all work on any of your bikes. His professionalism was excellent and as a result of his sole efforts, my visit to Trek the other morning (when I really needed help) was an unqualified success. Well done Anthony
JAN 2024 - I bought my mountain bike from Trek over 10 years ago for use during an overseas assignment. After several years of heavy use, it returned with me to Katy, TX. I always go back to Trek for all of my bike’s maintenance and servicings. My latest visit to the Trek shop this past late-November was no exception. When I rolled into the store, Shane (the service manager) greeted me asked me how he could help. He asked a lot of good questions and was very patient in listening to me describe my concerns – shifting issues, gear wear, etc. After some discussion, he recommend a Level 2 - Deep Clean maintenance check as it comes with new cables, good cleaning and tuneup. Vincente, a repair tech, did all of the maintenance and tuneup work. He did an excellent job. Cody, another repair tech, assisted me in the selection and installation of a new bicycle seat. Again, another excellent job. Throughout it all, Shane oversaw all the work and was involved in all the interactions. Again, he was very patient, communicative and professional. The Trek Shop located at 24555 Katy Freeway gets my highest recommendation. I’ve been a loyal customer for the last 10 years and will continue to be so.
