Called on Monday night and left message because while pump was running, we were getting no water from our well. I was called promptly the next morning, around 8:30 am. and didn’t anticipate any service til late that day at the earliest or probably the next day. I was told on the phone that the service truck would show up between 9:00 and 10:00 that same morning. Sure enough the guys arrived at 9:30 a.m. Pat and Joe got right to work after I gave them a briefing on the problem and explained what troubleshooting I had attempted. Pat explained as he went over the system what he was finding and the repairs that were probably necessary. We walked outside to the well and he quickly diagnosed the problems. A new tank was needed as part of the repair which was going to be pricey so he offered a short term “bandage” fix to keep the system working if we were unable to afford a new tank. We went with a new tank and the repairs were completed in roughly an hour. Very professional. Highly recommend

When there was suddenly no water from any tap in the house, I assumed we would be on bottled water for days, maybe weeks, and wondered which neighbors to call to beg for some shower time. But it took less than an hour from when I called till a Barlow truck rolled up the driveway; in less than three hours the problem was diagnosed and a new pump and wiring installed. Barlow is great and Pat and Chris are the best: speedy and knowledgeable professionals with clear explanations of the technical stuff. Also, they laughed at my jokes, the true mark of customer service.

Mike, Pat and Chris were extremely amazing when we had a sudden water problem and in talking with Mike he walked me through what steps to take to see what the pump was doing inside the tank. Mike quickly realized that the pump was no good and was able to schedule me first thing in the morning with his team. Pat and Chris arrived within hours of them knowing what was needed to repair our pump. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. Great attention to our needs and fully supported our concerns. Very positive teamwork from everyone.

SO appreciative of Pat and Ryan at Barlow! Another company had come to my house and said nothing was wrong. Barlow still came and checked, I had a hole in my under ground well pump. They fixed it promptly and erxplained everything to me so I understood what happened and what I needed to do. SO very grateful.

If you only have a minute to look at this review and you are "shopping around," I can honestly say that you've found the right company in doing things right and I am a testament to their quality of service and beyond.
I have been a very happy customer for nearly 15 years, and I have been extremely satisfied with their excellent service, professional staff and employees, and reasonable pricing.
Every and any employee that has come out to my home always took the time to do things right and have been very willing to explain things. I have well water and septic, and Barlow has been there for every installation from putting in a sulfur system and UV light, to replacing parts, fixing leaks involving my well water system, to the testing and installation of a radon mitigation system. When my well water tank needs replacing in the future, I only need to make one phone call.
They do my annual servicing perfectly and offer great advice whenever I have a question. The support staff at the office is always there to take care of any concerns, as I had a credit card that did not work due to an issue with my bank. Lori in the office was great in determining what the issue was, and it was solved in no time at all. I wish everyone operated this way!
When my well pump died recently, they were out there immediately while I was out of state and determine what was wrong and took care of everything very quickly. Barlow truly offers me a piece of mind and quality that cannot be replaced. I have no problem paying more for excellent service and reliability, but in this case, the great service comes at a very reasonable price.
If there is ever a problem, they take care of it... NOTHING replaces this piece of mind that they offer me.
Many of their employees have been there for YEARS, and this to me is a sign of a good company that people like to work for... and in term, they are great to their customers.
Thanks to everyone who has ever come out to my home over the years, I truly cannot say enough good things about them.

Excellent service. Had a problem with well pump intermittently running all the time. Came to the house and diagnosed the problem as leak in well supply line. Came back with equipment to locate the well, replace the broken line and installed an extention so we didn't have to dig up the yard again. Did all this in 5 hours and we were back in service. Very efficient. Personnel were excellant. Could not have had a better company and group of workers.

Great guys. Came to my house for an emergency call at 4:30pm on a Sunday. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly. Our well pump went bad, but they were able to replace it with a new one and have our water back in a few hours. The technicians were polite, professional, and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent service! Two of their competitors never returned my call. Barlow was here the next morning! Crew was efficient , knowledgeable and friendly! We started using JH Barlow when we purchased our home in 2021–we were new to owning a home with a well. They came out and ensured our systems were running perfectly. All recommendations were well explained and honest, and the work performed was done professionally and efficiently. We recently had a power surge, on a Friday night (of all times!) which caused our well pump control to fry. Pat and Mike were out first thing Saturday morning to replace, and we were so thankful to have water again after a very short amount of time without. As business owners ourselves, we can appreciate not only the excellent maintenance services, but also 24 hour emergency service! Would and will recommend JH Barlow to anyone I know with a well.

We contacted JH Barlow today after being referred by the company who last serviced our well, as they were on vacation and couldn’t help.
JH Barlow sent techs out same day and repaired our issue quickly and the final price was in line with the quote we received. After contacting many other companies, Barlow was one of the lowest quotes and we’re very happy we went with them.

Pat, Joe and Norm came out to fix the leak in my water line that runs from the well to the house. Within minutes they told me about how much it would cost and Norm and his digging machine arrived ready to get to work. We asked if they could replace our pressure tank while they we here and they had everything they needed on the truck! No need to order and wait for them to return. Within two hours my water line was fixed and we had a new pressure tank. They were professional, prepared and efficient as well as really nice guys that explained everything. What an amazing crew for a great company. Thank you all so much!

After 20 years of good well service our pump died late last night. Barlow was my first call at 7:30 this morning. By 8:10 Travis and Joe showed up, and quickly evaluated our system. By 10:30 they were done and the price was as quoted. Communication and workmanship was great! Thank you for the great job! We will be sure to call back for our next water service.

I am so pleased with the fast service. Travis and Kyle showed up around 8 AM and determined what the problem was. Too much water was used for gardening oops! These service men were very efficient and answered all my questions. They are very courteous and represent Barlow well.

If you have a well and/or any sort of radon mitigation system, you are also aware of how difficult it can be to find a reputable business to take care of your service. I've been price gouged, aggressively upsold, and had businesses outright not honor their own warranties. I gave Barlow Water Systems a shot, and I am SO INCREDIBLY GLAD that I did!!!
Not only did they take the time to explain what needs to be done, they gave me a straight-forward and reasonable price (no haggling or shenanigans), AND provided a written warranty for parts & labor.
If you are going to trust your home to someone, I would absolutely recommend Barlow.

I contacted Barlow this morning at 8am because my well pump wasn’t working. They had a crew at my home by 9am. I was shocked on how fast they arrived. The service call fee was extremely reasonable. They fixed the problem in less time than what would have been an extra charge. The technicians were very professional and experienced and approachable. They explained what caused my well to stop pumping, which was a toilet that was broken and running water all night which tripped off my pump. It pays to call a professional. And this company is professional excellence! It’s hard to imagine a home without running water. My family appreciates your phenomenal over the top service.

Came out for annual service, went the extra mile to get our water looking much clearer with how much iron we have. Was super patient and informative on how to use the softener and conditioner effectively. Awesome local business!
