I haven't been the best at taking care of my teeth, pretty much ever. I have quite a few fillings from my childhood. I literally just had the first completely pain free filling I have ever had. I've always felt pain from the drill at least. I had zero pain this time. This clinic is friendly, and they take their time to be very detailed with you. I came in initially for an invisalign consult, and they were so friendly as soon as I walked in the door that I switched clinics the same day. I'm not disappointed at all. Dr. Alkhateeb is fantastic!! And. Their front desk receptionist is so friendly. As someone who has worked in customer service for over 10 years, this is some of the best I've ever had.

They have a really cool office in Bellingham and all of the staff was really nice and helpful. There was one point during my visit where I was in the dental chair waiting for one of the dentist for about 5-10 minutes but the staff stayed 1/2 hour late to make sure my mouth was taken care of which more then made up for it. Overall great experience and would highly recommend this office. I have made it my dental office from now on.

Super friendly staff & comfortable atmosphere. Open late & on Saturday! The dentist did a great job perfecting my smile & I like that the receptionist will resolve any issues with my insurance to my benefit. Definitely not the strict, stuffy dentist office that I was accustomed to. I also heard the dentist contributes to our community by helping those who are less fortunate & financially unable to afford dentist services. What a great first visit to Dr. Kalhan’s office today!
Dental assistant Amy was completely on top of things, making sure I was familiar with the facility and the many services that can be performed on site.
Dr. Kalhan was very pleasant and informative, and the technology used to get precise views of my mouth was pretty space age!
Let’s not forget the office staff: the gals were friendly and helpful. (Trish is apparently the insurance whiz and her sweet puppy Gigi is a real office addition).
I look forward to a long and happy relationship with Dr Kalhan and his staff. Thank you to all of Dr. Kalhan’s staff for being so welcoming!

I've been to two other offices before I came to Sunrise dental. I was reffered by a work buddy. I must say that this office is beyond what I expected. The hours worked for me since I'm in construction and you know it's hard to get yourself seen with the hours you have. The staff ( Asst. Shayla and Trish the manager) is very friendly, informational, and funny. Made you feel at home. Dr Kalhan and his wife were very attentive to my concerns. They treated me with care. They set me up on a plan on how to fix my teeth and they were informational about everything i needed to know about my teeth. I'm confident in there skills to get the job done right. Now the visit was a lil long then I expected but what matters is how they actually cared about my concerns, they are knowledgeable and professional. I'm very sure once you come you will see what I seen and experience what I did and wouldn't want to go to anyone else. Also if your a union worker your dental plan will most likely be covered so that's a bigger plus for me. (:

Had a tooth extracted with a bone graft. Everyone there took the best care of me! Dr. was amazing! He’s one of the best! They were able to answer all of my questions about after care, and kept me updated with everything. Amy is amazing also! Definitely recommend Sunrise to anyone who asks where I go. Friendly and compassionate care. Trish at the front desk is so welcoming and helpful with scheduling and information. The Doctor is professional yet down to earth and explains the process along the way, which I find comforting as a patient and mother of three. My oldest just finished her Invisalign treatment, and we are thrilled with the fast effective results. This new office is always clean and the hygienist will leave your teeth feeling oh so smooth!

Sunrise Dental took such good care of me! I had an accident that resulted in a large laceration in my bottom lip that required stitches. They fit me in immediately on short notice and made me feel really comfortable and cared for while I waited. It really helped me feel calm and manage the pain. The dentist was also very personable and made me laugh — something I really needed at the time. :) I can honestly say you’re in good hands when you go to Sunrise Dental in Bellingham!

Great service. Very high tech machines that provided excellent analysis of my teeth. Either I've been living under a rock or 3D image modeling of ye olde chompers is a new thing. Either way, great stuff. Hygienists were very friendly and the chill music playlist was a nice vibe. Would recommend to anyone looking to get some grime off their pearly whites.
