I met Dr. Kalhan initially for a check up and cleaning. I shared my story with him about losing my three front teeth in an accident as a child. I told him I would love to get dental implants but the cost just wasn’t something my family could afford. He & his team made it happen for me. They were with me every step of the way. I felt so supported by them & they were truly invested in giving me my smile back. I can now smile with confidence & I want everyone to know how amazing Dr. Kalhan & his team truly are. I am a 26 yo guy with 4 teeth. Dr kalhan has been amazing this whole time and the denturist Huda ( I'm sorry if I misspelled that) is absolutely wonderful. My dentures look better and more real than my actual teeth ever did and these people take their time with you and truly want to help. I came in for emergency surgery after just moved to Bellingham. I was able to get in on the same day, everyone was very kind, and I barely noticed I’d gotten a tooth taken out. I had to get multiple fillings done over the span of about a month, and barely noticed I was getting dental work done. Dr Kalhan and the rest of the staff are kind and professional, and despite my initial nervousness about dental work, by the end I wasn’t nervous at all. I highly recommend coming here!

The extraction was far less pain than I had anticipated. He spoke to me in length about upcoming treatment options. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

I’d rate this office more than 5 stars if I could. Having just moved to Washington and searching for a new dentist, I am SO thankful to have found this dental office. My experience with them was exceptional. This is hands down the BEST dentist I have ever been to. The entire staff are all amazingly professional, compassionate, and their attention to detail is unmatched. If you’re in the market for a new dentist, I HIGHLY recommend Sunrise Dental in Bellingham. I have lived in Bellingham 20 years and have been to both adult & pediatric dental offices. My experience at Sunrise Dental in Bellingham (and in Mt. Vernon) have been some of the best dental experiences ever. The staff is polite, professional and personable. The Doctors take lots of time to both make sure I am comfortable, as well as answer any questions, I may have. I absolutely recommend Sunrise Dental if you are looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Yuriy and his staff are amazing!
He is very gental and there is no pain at all!
My son was a mess and didnt want to get his fillings done and Dr. Yuriy was soo patient with him and made the experience of getting the fillings done not so terrible.
We will be going back for all of our other dental stuff for sure.
I would definitely recommend him
