Definitely 'the' course for those wanting to transition from a basic awareness of materials and textures to a more advanced understanding. I think real progress in Blender is dependent on moving from a 'follow along' mentality to a competency based on insight into the internal workings. Zach does a great job of explaining Blender's data structures and relentlessly explores Blender's properties and object building methods. Who needs C constructors when you have Zach.

I took this course the first time like two years ago... and I just took it again after switching back from Maya to Blender (god I missed Blender...). It is as good as I remember... everything is so clear and visual. It's still the best tutorial I ever took... and after a year of 3d modelling schools, I can even say it can compete with them.

The best 3D course I have ever taken! I've taken a few, starting with Alias Sketch; Lightwave (from around version 3 up to 2019 version}; Ray Dream Designer; Strativision 3D; Zbrush and a few I don't remember. I tried for like 20 years to learn Lightwave and it was always difficult. This course was the best. You taught me things in a couple of months that I never understood in Lightwave. Blender is a fantastic software.

This is the core course for beginners, so I highly recommend starting here. In addition, you may revisit all of the chapters if you get confused along the process. I finished the course, and it was excellent. It helped me model things in Blender.

A fantastic course that perfectly explained the nuances of using Blender. It is organized in a great way so that each topic feels understandable and clear. It granted me the foundational knowledge to really experiment and feel confident in using Blender as a strong tool for my own projects.
