I've always known that Blender is a powerful 3D software with nearly limitless potential. That said, it threw me off the 1st time I opened and tried to use it. Blender's user experience went against the standard in terms of usability and it made getting into the program very tedious and annoying. However, I believe that proper instruction can help and change one's perspective here. Enter CG Boost; Zach really went all out here and both shows and informs with this course. The videos are short and to the point; and the overall project is fun and easy enough to get into (with some welcomed challenges). I'm looking forward to completing this course and making use of my newly obtained skills to take my portfolio to new heights. This is worth the money because it is an actual investment. P.S. a followup more advanced course would be awesome.

Another superb course from Zach, which will take you from beginner to Blender 2.8 hero in a few weeks. My only criticism is the lack of cat impressions this time around. If you already have Blender experience, this is a first-rate conversion course to the 2.8 interface and you will learn something new in every lesson. I eagerly await Zach's soft body modeling and rigging course, which will be a perfect complement for this.

I think it's an excellent course and I'm learning a lot. The fact of making short videos allows us to move faster, which is very motivating. A suggestion in the future could be to give extra tasks that are optional in a practical way, and that could then be coupled to the final project.

Zach is an excellent teacher and goes at a very comfortable pace. This course is an ideal introduction into the use of Blenders sculpting tools and technique. It is for 2.79 and the current version of Blender has moved on a bit but the course is still followable and Zach has added some notes to bridge the gap; this is inevitable with the move to version 2.8. I look forward to Zach expanding on the use of the Shrinkwrap modifier to allow sculpts to be retopologised prior to rigging. Hopefully this will be released soon as an addendum to this otherwise excellent course.

This would be a great course for those with no experience in Blender sculpting - it take you right from the basics of how sculpting works to each of the different brushes. However, even for an intermediate skilled 'Blenderer' like myself it was packed with useful tips and tricks that I didn't know about. Would definitely recommend for anyone who want to improve their Blender sculpting.

this needs a buyers beware sticker on it. i did learn a lot yes. but i spent more time on google and in comments sections than i did actually paying attention to the videos. its very old and a lot of the ending part of the course the pacing gets really sped up. i was not a fan of his teaching methods. its nice being able to get help in time on the forums when you're struggling, but being told just download an old version is kinda counter intuitive when it comes to learning a new program. since... i started out on a more updated version. for the price i don't think this is worth it anymore. maybe 3 years ago absolutely.
