This is to recommend the kitchen remodel project you might have in mind under the leadership of our Regency Remodeling contractor Bruce Pinsler. He caught wind we were interested, stopped by, and, within 24 hours, was back with a detailed proposal for our kitchen. He sold us on his intention that once the project began, a dedicated crew would be there from 8 to 4:30 every day until the project was done. They were good on their word. Recommended was a complete tear out down to the studs, which we found to be the most efficient way to ensure success. We also were impressed with his intention to eliminate the usual wait time of weeks duration between cabinet installation and granite top measure, fabrication, and installation. His granite guy took our pick at Daltile and Granite, came and measured on a Monday, cut on a Tuesday, and installed on a Wednesday! We then knew that Bruce’s bravado was well earned and backed by results. We learned that such a complete remodel requires every building trade other than foundation and roofing, so it’s going to be intensive with the possibility of delays and set-backs. There were none. We were fortunate to be able to be available from our busy work schedules to consult with his major subcontractor on design preferences on site, and they were faithful to our intentions and decisions, even taking out the grout when it proved not to be to our order with Daltile and reinstalling the right color. There were only a few details left, such as the need for quarter round base shoe on the cabinets, which probably had come with some, supplied by the cabinetry concern unrelated to Regency, but got lost in the shuffle. They agreed to come back and put that in. We are very pleased with the final result and wish anyone who intends on going through with such a major home improvement as this to choose Regency and Mr. Pinsler. I recommend them with a 5 star rating.
