The best vacation we have ever had and it was only a weekend. So much to say, that I am just going to name the places and some of the people there that made it a fantastic time. The reception at the hotel: Ms Castillo was wonderful! Very helpful and took time to explain the hotel to us. Causa in the Marina: Pisco Sour drinks. Jose is a great bartender, attentive and know his stuff. La Casita in the Marina: everyone there was excellent! Juan, most of all. And the food? We were blown away! Out of this world! La Piazzetta in Chavon: Victor and Miguel were our waiters. They are so good at what they do! Live music provided by a duo led by Bienvenido Martinez on a guitar accompanied by a trumpet. Name the song and he will play it and sing ir for you! The food was very good as well. The atmosphere? Forget it! You just have to be there. Lago restaurant in the hotel: buffet style. Fresh and delicious assortments of food. You will find something you like! Algenis was great and accomodated all our requests. Cocomar in Minitas beach: those are hard working guys that don't seem to ever rest. They are very good at what they do. Even the supervisor stepped up to cover for one of his waiters during his lunch time. Horse riding at the Polo club: Rafael Guerrero is the guide you would need! Do yourself a favor and ask for him by name! Very pleasant, funny, knows his stuff and will make the horse riding time feel like a min! Are we planning on going back? Hell yes!!!
