This place is amazing! We stretched our budget to split our DR holiday with the latter 7 nights here - we were not disappointed and very sad to be leaving. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend this place enough. We travelled as a couple and from the moment we checked in, we were blown away by the service - Rosa at check in was amazing, professional, knowledgable, friendly. The number of facilities and restaurants onsite makes this place great, but it’s the staff who take it to next level - every single staff member was eager to please, often preempting our needs, so clearly happy in their job, and ready to go the extra mile. Special shout out to Caren and Robinson at the hotel pool - thank you looking after us so well! Anastasia was the hostess at Causa (Peruvian), and Chilango Taquiera (Mexican) restaurants - her welcoming smile was a lovely way to start our evening. Also, John, our server in Chilango was top class - all the tequila knowledge! The bar staff at the hotel bar are all great too. The choice of restaurants was great, and the quality of food outstanding. La Casita (Spanish), was our only slight disappointment in terms of food quality. Special shout out to Candy from guest services - I unfortunately took ill early in our stay, and from the moment I called to ask about medical support, she took control and looked after me at every step of the way. Follow up calls and texts were a neat touch. For excursions, we did the Fun Caribe - staff here were amazing - and the shooting - thank you Luis for looking after gun novices. Sunset at Minitas beach is a must do
