It has taken me rather a long time to put on a review, so my apologies Jordi and co. I rode out from UK to Barcelona via Mallorca on a tour. Obviously I was in Barcelona without my bike box, and it was agreed that Trek Barcelona Sud would pack it in a bike box with suitable protection for the flight back home. As I wanted to be part of the packing to be able to tell the airport security I packed it myself, I "helped" pack up the bike. I had a really enjoyable hour with the professional staff at this shop, and with all the packaging, work, complete protection and a strong cardboard box with a trek Barcelona Sud T-shirt thrown in for good measure, it cost me 45 Euros. I normally just buy a cardboard box and do it myself and probably worry there isn't much protection but I think this was 45 Euros very well spent, because the bike was in a box, ready to fly safely, one hour after I arrived at their shop, no faffing, I had two more days in Spain which I could enjoy, and was able to go straight to the airport without any worries at all! Highly recommended, and thank you. I wish I could have said the same for the baggage handlers, who lost my bike for two days on the return home, but all's well that ends well! Oh and it was good for Trek. because I browsed the bikes in the shop and I have bought an (admittedly secondhand) Trek Emonda since my return to the UK.
