3.) It felt like almost everyone at the wedding told us this was the best dj they have ever danced to at a wedding.

Working with Maryland’s DJ was an absolutely amazing experience throughout the course of our wedding planning journey. From the minute that we first contacted them, Jordan and Mike were extremely professional, attentive, and best of all- FUN! Their online portal was a great tool, allowing us to quickly and easily plan everything from song lists to lighting schemes for our wedding ceremony and reception. During the course of the wedding evening, DJ Mike did a fantastic job of making announcements to keep the party flowing and playing songs that kept feet on the dance floor. We received many compliments regarding the mix of lighting and music that DJ Mike provided throughout the night, and they were absolutely correct. Our venue (Baltimore Museum of Art) included large rooms with high ceilings, but Mike did a fantastic job of lighting them and controlling the acoustics. We can’t say enough good things about Maryland’s DJ, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area!

Maryland's DJ was super easy to work with. They setup a call with us to determine our style and then another meeting with a DJ who fit is best. We worked with DJ Brian. Brian was great! He got everyone up and dancing and really hit the vibe. They also offer an extremely user friendly website to help the couple plan their songs from ceremony into the reception. Highly recommend!!!

The Maryland’s DJ was a great experience throughout the entire process, from beginning to finish. They were very flexible in this current environment as the time change for the wedding, and they were very accommodating. They provide great music and the sound throughout the wedding, coordinating with the venue with minimal questions for the wedding party as they went over the questions prior to the day of the event. I would recommend them for any function as the flexibility and capability was one of the most pleasant during the process of planning the wedding. Great job.

I was recommended by a friend to work with Maryland's DJ and that is about as much thought I put into it praying for an easy experience, and they absolutely CRUSHED IT.
We had to postpone a year due to COVID-19, we wanted it to be a big party for everyone the whole time, and we were having a mixed marriage so we were worried different music tastes might make our "big party" goal complicated.
Immediately had no worries on our wedding as everyone was vibing the whole night! Brian was our DJ and he knew the perfect moments to mix songs. We listed a couple songs to play, but Brian got the gist of what we wanted and it was a just a blast. There was never a wasted moment and never a feeling that a song had been cut short either. College friends, my parents friends, cousins, and my 90 grandmother all felt the same way. It was not easy to entertain so many so long, but just an awesome feeling when it happens.
We opted for the photo booth that sent photos directly to your phone which was such a cool thing to have, and we also got uplighting to add a little more atmosphere to our venue and dance floor.
Lastly, my wife and I STILL were deciding on some songs two days out (!!!) and never once felt pressured into making choices, and were assured that everything would be great, and then we lived happily ever after.

If you’re looking for a DJ who will have your guests dancing the whole night - look no further. They will have your guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night and know how to read the room. They are super professional and we had great communication the entire planning process. The portal was a huge bonus because it really gave the DJ an idea of the songs you want played and to truly customize it to your liking. My wife and I got married March 2020 and STILL have guests talking about how fun the wedding was and the music was 100% the reason.
Also, all negative reviews are from the same family disgruntled because they had to abide by a contract. (All dated same time)

I have nothing but good things to say about Maryland’s DJ and Jordan (great guy!). One of my favorite things about Maryland DJ, is their super fun photo booth which we’ve had at multiple special family celebrations. One of the photo booth settings “boomerang” makes for some legendary memories. (And somehow always makes everyone look good). In fact, one time we took a photo booth boomerang collage with my Grammy’s walker, doing fun dances, and it was quite hilarious.
All in all, 1000% would recommend!
