They were very flexible in this current environment as the time change for the wedding, and they were very accommodating. They provide great music and the sound throughout the wedding, coordinating with the venue with minimal questions for the wedding party as they went over the questions prior to the day of the event. I was recommended by a friend to work with Maryland's DJ and that is about as much thought I put into it praying for an easy experience, and they absolutely CRUSHED IT.
We had to postpone a year due to COVID-19, we wanted it to be a big party for everyone the whole time, and we were having a mixed marriage so we were worried different music tastes might make our "big party" goal complicated.
Immediately had no worries on our wedding as everyone was vibing the whole night! Brian was our DJ and he knew the perfect moments to mix songs. We listed a couple songs to play, but Brian got the gist of what we wanted and it was a just a blast. There was never a wasted moment and never a feeling that a song had been cut short either. College friends, my parents friends, cousins, and my 90 grandmother all felt the same way. It was not easy to entertain so many so long, but just an awesome feeling when it happens.
We opted for the photo booth that sent photos directly to your phone which was such a cool thing to have, and we also got uplighting to add a little more atmosphere to our venue and dance floor.
Lastly, my wife and I STILL were deciding on some songs two days out (!!!) and never once felt pressured into making choices, and were assured that everything would be great, and then we lived happily ever after.

If you’re looking for a DJ who will have your guests dancing the whole night - look no further. They will have your guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night and know how to read the room. They are super professional and we had great communication the entire planning process. The portal was a huge bonus because it really gave the DJ an idea of the songs you want played and to truly customize it to your liking. My wife and I got married March 2020 and STILL have guests talking about how fun the wedding was and the music was 100% the reason.
Also, all negative reviews are from the same family disgruntled because they had to abide by a contract. (All dated same time)

I have nothing but good things to say about Maryland’s DJ and Jordan (great guy!). One of my favorite things about Maryland DJ, is their super fun photo booth which we’ve had at multiple special family celebrations. One of the photo booth settings “boomerang” makes for some legendary memories. (And somehow always makes everyone look good). In fact, one time we took a photo booth boomerang collage with my Grammy’s walker, doing fun dances, and it was quite hilarious.
All in all, 1000% would recommend!

I initially discovered Jordan performing at my friend's wedding and reached out for my own wedding a couple years later. Maryland's DJ is super flexible and fun to work with! I had my brothers band play a set for my wedding and Maryland's DJ was very flexible to adapting this in so that it was a seamless transition between band and dj. They really take the time to personalize the music to you while also creating a vibe that gets everyone young and older up on the dance floor. Everything was so natural and well organized between Maryland DJ for each aspect of my wedding. They truly don't miss a beat! I couldn't recommend them more and now as I work in the wedding industry I have had the opportunity to see them on another level. From both my personal and professional experience they are my go-to recommendation to couples who I work closely with.

We hired Maryland's DJ for our wedding reception (the official gathering after a 2020 courthouse ceremony) and I was blown away by how helpful they were throughout the entire process. I'm not really a music person and had no idea what songs to suggest but our guests (and embarrassingly myself) were singing and dancing all night. I was kind of sad going in to the re-do wedding reception as it didn't really feel like the real thing, and I was afraid that our friends and family would feel the same way too, but Maryland's DJ helped to give our reception the authentic first-time feeling and I am so happy with the way everything came together. 10/10!!
