We had an amazing time and Steve was an incredible DJ. We had a good feeling about him from our very first meeting, but he really pulled it all together for a great event. We know he was supposed to have some help, which unfortunately fell through, but we honestly had no idea until after the party. Steve went above and beyond and made it a very special event. He made us the center of attention, he had a perfect playlist, and mixed in our requests as well. We honestly can’t think of anything that didn’t go perfectly with Steve.
On a scale of 1-10, Steve was a true 11. Throughout the entire process he was communicative, attentive, and understood our vision.

We hired Maryland's DJ to spin for a kick-off event at our areas annual Pride Festival. This was a first time that we were going to have a public dance following the daytime festival and the success of the event and the decision to make it annual was all dependent upon how things went this year.
I had a couple of detailed discussions about the purpose of the event as well as the expectations that were going to be there for the music for this event. I was assured that they knew what I was looking for and they were eager to be there for this inaugural event and meet the expectations.
I'm so pleased to say that it was exactly what we wanted and the event was a HUGE success. Being a Dance Party, the focus was on the music. This wasn't just some background music needed that some might be aware or not. The event WAS the music. And Maryland's DJ totally delivered.
I was approached repeatedly by numerous guests saying what a great job the DJ was doing/did. And the best part - was people were dancing! Everyone was having an amazing time and enjoying the music.
We were extremely pleased with taking a chance on Maryland's DJ and we hope that now that this will be an annual event, he will be able to come back again!

Ross Hyatt DJ'd our wedding. Maryland's DJ promised us an amazing experience and Ross DELIVERED! From the start, the process of establishing with their team was easy despite us being out of state. Each member of the team was kind, helpful, and prompt. Once we were paired with Ross as our assigned DJ, most of our communication/collaboration was through him. He was always responsive, kind, and professional regardless of day of the week or time of day. He DJ'd each aspect of our wedding (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) and MC'd each aspect exactly how we requested and discussed in our various meetings leading up to the big day. If this wasn't already enough, when food was spilled on my wife's dress during dinner, he was one of the first to come running over with a towel and water to help. If you are planning a wedding, or any event for that matter, you should absolutely consider signing up with Maryland's DJ and asking for Ross!

Maryland’s DJ was phenomenal! Taylor was super helpful and responsive during the early stages of planning. DJ Scott was FANTASTIC. Another DJ was supposed to cover our event, but something came up and Jordan (owner) called to apologize and ensure that DJ Scott was the best candidate to entertain our guests. We had 125 guests and the dance floor was packed ALL night. I could not recommend DJ Scott more!

We used Maryland’s DJ for our 150-person black tie optional wedding in Washington DC. Services included music (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), photo booth, and uplights. Everything was flawless. Jordan was our DJ and he was an absolute pro. Music done well has the power to make life feel like a movie and create epic moments and memories. That’s what Jordan delivered for us. Cannot recommend him enough. The photo booth was a huge hit. Totally customizable and looked great.

We are thankful we booked with a company like Maryland's DJ. The original DJ we were paired with had last minute health issues and was swapped out the day before. The owner, Jordan, made sure Laz & John were up to speed and able to deliver a seamless experience on our wedding day (easy to do with the great online portal and planning forms they use for their clients).

Everyone at MD's DJ was so great to work with! Taylor helped with scheduling and coordination, and she was so responsive, kind, and a joy to work with! DJ Steve was originally supposed to do our wedding and he produces music as well as DJing, so when I brought him a first dance song that I loved but felt too long, he helped me rework it keeping all of the sentimental parts while trimming it down to a reasonable time. He is so great! Something came up and he couldn't make it to our event, so DJ Scott stepped in and was so great! Every song he played was met with cheers and our guests RAVED about him. He kept the dance floor full all night and everyone had so much fun!! Highly recommend Marylands DJ!!!

I had Maryland's DJ for my wedding last weekend and they totally rocked it. We got a lot of compliments that night for the music mixes and the energy. Brian was a lot of fun to work with, at one point some during the reception guest were slowing down a bit but he was able to get everyone excited and dancing again in no time.
I knew several years before my wedding that I wanted to work with Maryland’s DJ after seeing them at a friend’s wedding so I’m so happy they were available and there to make my big day so memorable!

They worked with us to make the planning very simple and straight forward. They were super helpful with recommendations for prelude and cocktail hour music. Not to mention the photo booth, amazing up lighting and beautiful dancing on the clouds for our first dance. BRAVO!

We decided to go with Maryland DJ after having a fantastic introductory call with the owner Jordan Solender. We booked DJ Mike Q for our wedding date and had access to easy planning tools to where we could add different "must play" and "do not play" songs. Sadly Mike Q ended up getting covid the Friday before the wedding, but Maryland DJ also always has an unscheduled DJ on staff in case something comes up and DJ Neil was able to fill in beautifully! He made the dance floor come alive, and we received so much praise from guests about the DJ's song choices. It was hands down the best dance floor I've seen at a wedding, and Maryland DJ was a major part in making that happen. Would definitely recommend Maryland DJ and DJ Neil!
