Jordan was great for our Halloween wedding! We worked with him for a few hours in the weeks prior to the wedding to get the mood right and his suggestions were always on point! He helped us bring a subtle Halloween vibe to a class affair, which is a strange thing to ask of a DJ!

Maryland's DJ, specifically Jordan, was the BEST DJ we could have ever pictured for our wedding. He was recommended to me by a relative who is also in the wedding business (so she knows her stuff) and he did NOT disappoint. Especially during this unprecedented time of this ongoing pandemic, he made our wedding a priority. He was responsive immediately to any type of correspondence I had with him, went above and beyond to help us plan our music list and ceremony details. DJ Steve Hartka was a perfect fit for our wedding. From start to finish, Steve was very responsive and helpful. My wife and I requested that our first song be edited to add an instrumental portion, he kindly provided several edits which made our first dance a dream. All of our wedding guests have continued to comment on Steve's awesomeness. Steve was very friendly and accommodating with song requests from my newly minted niece. DJ Brian was amazing. About a month before the third planned wedding was to take place, we found ourselves without music for the day. A friend of a friend has worked with Jordan, recommended him, and within 20 minutes, we had a scheduled phone call to work with our unique wedding day. Not only were Jordan and Brian professional and amiable, but they were incredibly flexible with the insanity (& forgetfulness!) of this exhausted bride. Finally, DJ Brian found an indescribable way to play a beautiful blend of Egyptian & country music... I never would have imagined that’s possible! Having Jordan as our wedding DJ was an absolute delight. The first time we ever spoke to Jordan, it was for close to an hour as he laid out his experience as a DJ, particularly with weddings, and answered all of our questions about why we should consider hiring him. Since that initial interview, Jordan was always available to us via phone, text, or email, often responding within the hour, and was happy to answer the most trivial of questions that we had.
Jordan prepared thoroughly before the wedding, sending us a detailed questionnaire, schedule, and song list to complete, to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. And we met via video chat a couple weeks before the wedding just to talk everything over and iron out any remaining details.
At the wedding itself, Jordan was terrific. He arrived early. He coordinated with our other vendors and the staff at the venue to set up his equipment so that we weren't disturbed. He made introductions, provided announcements, and, of course, kept the dance floor grooving for the entire night. Not to mention, the photo booth that we reserved through Maryland's DJ was a massive hit with our guests! Everything unfolded seamlessly
On top of all the things I mentioned above, Jordan is quite simply a genuine, friendly, and easygoing person. My wife and I liked talking to and interacting with him. He made our lives a little less hectic while planning a wedding in the midst of the ongoing pandemic: no small feat.
Maryland's DJ has a strong recommendation from us, and a tremendous thank you, Jordan, for all your hard work!

We had Brian as our dj for our 9/5 wedding. He did a fantastic job! We are so happy we went with him and Maryland's DJ! He listened to our requests, played everything we wanted, had a great range of styles for everyone, and kept people dancing and in a good mood the whole night! Kept the vibe we wanted throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing! He was great on the mic for introductions and announcements throughout the night. He was always responsive to our emails and phone calls. He was helpful with all of our questions and anything else we needed help on! We definitely would recommend Brian Maryland's dj and hire them again for anything else we needed a dj for!! :)

Our photographer referred us to Jordan and we couldn’t be happier that she did! He was extremely helpful and always there when we had any questions, especially with having to change our date due to COVID. The lighting was absolutely amazing and the photo booth was a complete hit. I don’t think there was a single moment the dance floor was empty once dinner was over, besides the cake cutting. Jordan covered a lot of genres of music so there was a little bit of everything for everyone in attendance. The night flowed seamlessly and we knew we were in good hands throughout!

Steve was absolutely amazing at our wedding a few months ago. He is literally a walking encyclopedia of music information, and he was able to mesh all of our interests (funk, 80-90s R&B, contemporary pop, etc.) into one seamless night that had the entire dance floor packed all night long. We can't recommend Steve enough for being so supportive and accommodating.
He also did our ceremony music, and we were amazed how seamlessly that came together. All in all - Steve's your guy! Thanks for everything, Steve!

We got married September 21, 2019 and we will always remember the 21st night of September because of our amazing DJ, Brian! Brian was amazing to work with on our wedding day and the many months leading up to the wedding. He asked for a timeline months in advance so we could pick the perfect song for each moment of the ceremony and reception. He even gave us suggestions when we were unsure of what song to play when we were being introduced as husband and wife, and even offered to remix a few songs for us. Our family and friends are still talking about how much fun our wedding was and it is largely due to the music and lively atmosphere Brian created. Brian Doane was our DJ for our November wedding at Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Brian was so easy going and awesome to work with from start to finish. We had some music requests but he did a great job feeling out the crowd and kept the party moving all night! I don’t think our dance floor was empty the whole reception! He is a great friend and awesome DJ. I would recommend him for any event!

For bride and grooms to be (or anyone throwing an event) - do yourself a favor and look no further, seriously! Jordan was amazing during this entire planning process, he always replied in a timely manner and made every little request I had seem like no biggie and made it happen! Using the online portal (which was extremely cool!!) gives you the opportunity to give him a general idea of the type of music you want and keeps things extremely organized...Now more importantly, he literally had the crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE time. He is able to read the crowd and deliver. It’s only been two days since the wedding and I’ve gotten SO many messages about the DJ and how incredible the music was and how awesome his lighting work was. Maryland's DJ was a last-minute addition to our 50th birthday party and we are very glad we hired them! We had a lot of fun with the online song selection portal: we we able to choose 25 "must-play" songs, 25 additional requests, and up to 10 on a do-not-play list. The portal also had a place to put the projected schedule - cocktail hour, dancing, cake, etc. Ebi was great, very professional. For example, he chose just the right songs for before and after the cake. He kept the party going. We had initially planned to plug an iphone into some speakers but we are really glad we spent the money and had Ebi!
