We are delighted with the ground mounted solar array in our sheep paddock, and all the high spec kit and latest tech infrastructure you installed for us in the rain, mud and cold.
You are an amazing, professional lovely team and we really appreciated your expertise, guidance and good natured work ethic throughout. Special thanks to Lee who oversaw everything and acted as our agent for the council planning application, including creating drawings, plans and keeping us up to date throughout. We are now blown away with how intuitive the app is to monitor ongoing performance in real time and the amount of data available.
We have effectively now got a mini power station to achieve near self-sufficiency energy wise making this a really good investment.

Faultless and painless. From signing the contract to installation 3 weeks later was simply incredible. Lee dealt with the bureaucracy of the grid connection and outgoing tariff, and we were fully up and running by mid-July. We have since found that receiving credit from one’s energy supplier is very satisfying.
Over the three-day installation, the team was professional, polite and tidy and welcomed an inquisitive eye. Importantly, and for scaffolding perhaps, unusually, it was up for the duration of the job and no longer than necessary.
Lee’s advice was to keep the EV charger separate from the solar circuits and subsequent experience has proven its wisdom. On a final note, the Anker Solix X1 battery system is quite an elegant addition to the side of the house.

From the onset, the quote for the work and the subsequent installation was excellent. The installation team were polite, courteous and professional whilst undertaking the job on site. The work was completed within 2 days, and when the team left my premises the interior and exterior of the house was immaculate. The people putting in the hardware were excellent.
The administrative war with Brittish Gas who had captured and lost my MPAN went on for ever.
Lee cheerfully battled on. He refused the part payment I offerd until the matter was fully resolved.

My experience with Lee & Eastbourne Energy is a perfect example of how it's best to buy local.
We have wanted solar for a few years now but always stopped going ahead because we just didn't trust the sales pitch, ludicrous claims and the thought of a very large team crashing through your house to achieve an install in one day when the installing company is based 50 miles away leaving a rushed messy looking install when we all strive to make our homes look neat and tidy.
Enter Eastbourne Energy, a seamless neat and professional installation over two days where we was consulted at every stage and the team went out of their way to hide cables etc. They were a pleasure to have on the property, very respectful of your house and cleaned up afterwards.
Lee was present when the system went live and demonstrated how to use the app etc and all the required certification and means to get the export tariff set up with Octopus was done within 2 days after.

We invited Lee to carry out a survey and proposal for supply and fitting of solar panels and battery for our bungalow, we were impressed with his knowledge and answered all questions, explained the payback period of time. He suggested a system for us and dealt with the paperwork and suggested the appropriate tariff for our needs.

After getting a number of different quotes, from expensive through to outrageous, I came across Eastbourne Energy.
It was Saturday, I put my details in the online form asking if he would travel to Portslade and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Lee, the director. We chatted about different solutions, options and his quote arrived within 24 hours. No pushy sales, he didn’t try to upsell me anything, advised (correctly) that I didn’t need a bigger battery due to my low usage and I got a positive vibe from him. No pushy sales! Yes, I’ve said it twice! None of those dodgy sales tactics, like another vendor tried.
From the scaffolding team, the installers, electricians and finally the wizard himself (Lee!) turning up to commission it all - it was an easy journey. Nothing was too difficult for them, they were able to answer my questions, walked me through the install and plying them with coffee, they completed my install in a quick and incident-free fashion. Very professional, all round. I was “that guy” and I did ask for something to be moved - no problem at all.
I now have a maximum of 7.2kW across two roofs, getting the morning sun to charge the battery and midday/afternoon sun to sell back to the grid. These past few weeks I have been averaging about 35-40kWs yield which means free washing, free tumble dryer, free dishwasher and more importantly, free playstation during the day!
I would like to take the time to thank all that attended as they make a great team. Damian (and gang!), Phil, Josh, Jordan, James & his Padawan Oscar and finally, the chief himself, Lee Standell. I hope I got the names correct! Thank you Lee & Team. Nick

Totally delighted with Eastbourne Energy.
Staff are experts in their field and guided me about something of which I had no idea. Extremely polite, courteous and a pleasure to deal with.
The workmanship first class from the electrical installation to the placing of the solar panels.
Lee explained every detail of the system and will continue to monitor that I am getting the best out of the system and also which Octopus tarrif will best suit my needs.

If I could give Eastbourne Energy more than 5 stars I would. I highly, highly recommend them. I cannot sing their praises highly enough. All so easy and stress free from start to finish, absolutely everything is taken care of. I just made tea and coffee! The team, consisting of Lee, Phil, Josh, Jordan, James and Ollie, are all incredibly lovely guys. They are all very professional, polite, and friendly. They were all a pleasure to have around for 2 days. The guys turned up when they said they would and the installation took the time I had been told it would take. They all did a first class job, the cable work is so neat and tidy, with cables being hidden where possible. The positioning of the batteries and inverter were discussed with me before they were installed to ensure I was happy with everything. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the first day and after the installation had been completed on the second day. Lee dealt with all the paperwork I needed and commissioned everything at the end of the installation. He made sure everything was working properly, installed the app I needed on my phone and kept an eye on my system for a couple of days to ensure there were no problems. They are all true professionals, experts in their fields. You will not regret instructing them to install your solar panels, you will regret it if you do not. Top notch team, top notch job.

Too bloke! I rung Lee to help me with my faulty solar system, (that he didn’t fit)
Straight away he put my mind at rest with his highly experienced advice. When he turned up he sent his drone up to look at my solar panels, and explained in great detail the problems he saw with the panels, he took photos and noted all 12 panels and advice given. He then completely updated my system fixed the multiple problems I had with panels and systems, and gave further future advice, he was here for over two hours, and never asked for any payment!
He was simply happy to help someone who’d been badly treated by a dodgy solar company, who had the. refused to further help me! I can’t recommend Lee enough, a kind, intelligent, and professional man who simply wanted to help with my solar problems. I wish I’d gone with him in the first place! All solar panels now working, system up and running again, and I couldn’t be more grateful! Highly recommend!
