Working on my solar panels they had a keen eye for detail and the work was done neatly and without disturbance to the household. Highly recommend Eastbourne energy, from the start Lee came to our house, unlike other companies, he was very knowledgable about everything solar. No pushy sales gave me a full breakdown quote with estimates of solar generation. The guys who completed the work were all very punctual, the work was very neat and completed to a high standard.
Solar panels have been fitted 2 months now, my quote estimate for June generation was 738kwh my actual was 968kwh showing the system is more efficient than expected. Thank you.

My wife and I chose Eastbourne Energy to upgrade our solar pannels and install a solar battery because of the good online reviews. We are pleased to say we are happy to add our own 5 star review.
From contacting Lee to arrange an appointment to discuss our requirements, Lee could not have been more helpful. He surprised us by saying we could still keep the FIT import payments from our original solar installation. With an electric car, solar pannels and solar battery we are now able to change to the Octopus Intelligent Go EV tarrif and we anticipate over the next year our electricity cost for importing from the grid will reduce significantly. The solar export credits gained over the 8 sunnier months of the year should cover the debits in winter when the sun doesnt shine so much. Besides my wife and I trying to do our bit to help save the planet, we may even find ourselves overall in credit cost wise on an anual basis! Electricity prices are only going to get higher due to the Government's net zero objectives.
The installation itself went very smoothly. Scaffolding went up the day before installation and down the day after installation was completed. The standard of workmanship for the installation was excellent and all workmen were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Lee has gone out of his way to help us understand how the pannels, battery system and our EV charger work together.
We have no hesitation in recommending Eastbourne Energy for their solar energy needs.

Always difficult when looking for a contractor to install solar panels, with so many choices available and lots of rogue traders advertising online. I contacted three local companies and one further afield who had installed solar for a friend. Of the local companies, Lee Standell of Eastbourne Energy instilled us with total confidence. Unlike the other companies who used an app and a quick survey to give a quote Lee was prepared to spend a long time discussing pros and cons without a hard sell. Other companies then wanted a substantial deposit before a second survey to confirm the installation, Lee on the other hand came round twice bringing Phil and Jordan who quickly confirmed what was possible and the best solution for our property which has multiple aspects.
Eastbourne Energy maybe one of the smaller companies but in our experience one of the best. The installation by Phil, Jordan and Josh was carried out with care and precision and very quickly. Brad the electrician installed all the equipment superbly taking care to ensure it complied with all the regulations and safety requirements.
Lee was on hand to commission and effect the change over of the tariff and to answer any questions I have had since having the system installed.
All up and running perfectly with very good output.
If you are considering installing solar, you couldn’t choose a better team and company.

I was looking for a solar and battery installation, and Lee came highly recommended by several of my neighbours. Now, I understand why they spoke so highly of him. He is a genuinely kind individual who is dedicated to assisting you in finding the most suitable system for your needs. Everyone involved in the installation process, from the smiley and courteous scaffolders to the meticulous and respectful team installing the panels and the electrics. The system has been running smoothly for over a week now and Lee is always quick to respond if you have any issues or questions.

We've had a rough experience in deciding which solar company to trust and invest our money in. For the past year, we've had rip-off offers from other solar companies for half or a third of the number of panels installed for the same price, others even offered a higher price. Some were rude and quite annoying nonstop nagging. A very known one even refused to install on our entire roof. Chatting with Lee of Eastbourne Energy about the installation, process and everything under the sun, will drop your hesitations and anxieties to the lowest level. Hearing about his main and real goal for doing this closed the deal. Even with the delay in finalising our decision, we still were saved for the dates we booked for installation. They also included to thw price the removal of our existing water-heating solar panels and systems. If not for the extremely strong winds, it may have been installed as planned and there maybe no delays. We were guided step by step and even when half of the panels were installed, due to safety reasons because of bad weather, it was already running and generating energy. Lee taught me how the app works, what I can view, and all paperworks to be processed. All questions and requests granted and answered. All paperworks and applications with UK Power Network were completed and receive in a week which I heard from other companies will take you ages making you export energy for charity for quite a long time. I processed and applied everything with my power network and the following month after installation, I am already earning £££ and using less energy.

I have had an awful experience with an Eastbourne Solar Power Company, and after much frustration I contacted my plumber (Chris Staples who is by the way a very good plumber) who I knew had solar panels and a battery and was very happy with his system.
Enter Lee Standell of Eastbourne Energy. From the first contact, to starting the installation, and then to the completion Lee and his team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The installation is now up and running and doing exactly what Lee said it would do. I am so pleased with the installation and would not hesitate to recommend Eastbourne Energy and give them 'FIVE STARS' for a job very well done.

Thank you for everything that you and your team did with the installation new system. Every stage of the process went smoothly. Really appreciated the knowledgeable, informative, low key, no pressure approach that worked for us.
We could not be more pleased with the result, most especially the neatness of the wiring and final equipment insulation. It is an investment and the system you installed cost less than I had initially anticipated it would be.
We have already seen a saving on the amount of power that we are drawing from the grid, even on cloudy and overcast days.

When looking for a solar installer I came across the reviews other clients of Eastbourne Energy had posted, and this propelled me into action as I could hardly believe what I was reading...... Now, after a superb installation, I know it's true !
My initial contact with Lee on the phone, his immediate grasp of my somewhat complicated requirements, and his obvious knowledge of all aspects of solar, EV's, V2G, MCS, and other baffling (to the uninitiated) terms, made me realize I had found a truly special organisation with a real enthusiast at its head.
Lee's subsequent visit to my house, all his useful comments and clear presentation of his suggested set-up all happened quickly and efficiently, and on comparing with other solar companies I had asked to quote there was little difficulty in deciding who to engage.
The date for starting the work was mutually agreed, and at 0800 on the appointed freezing cold day Lee's cheerful and personable team arrived and commenced the job, outside in the wind on the scaffolding, no loud music and doing 3 hours per cuppa, and still cheerful when clearly frozen to the bone...! I have to say I was most impressed with the speed of progress, and 3 days later with the expert and neat electrical work completed too, Lee commissioned the system and explained it all fully to me.
From the proposal so clearly set out in the first place to the final result, it has been a rewarding experience to deal with such a competent team - how often can you say that about a job? A big thank-you to Lee, Brad, Jordan, Josh, and Phil, who were all charming and considerate, and made what could have been anathema into a positive pleasure.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Eastbourne Energy to my friends and neighbours, and I do hope that this will lead to positive results for all concerned.
