When we were introduced to Xcellence Mortgage, we were entering the market as first-time home buyers. Naturally, our needs were a bit different and we had loads of questions. Mercedes was in charge of our file right away. She called to speak with us about what it meant to get a loan during this pandemic situation and what could change. She made herself available at pretty much any hour via email and texts. She was very responsive and knowledgeable. She’s also very straightforward. We explained to her what our expectations were in terms of closing time and other particulars. She assured us that she would meet those expectations but she surpassed them. We closed so quickly our realtor and the seller of course was excited about that. As a buyer we appreciated being walked through the entire process. From pre-approval to closing- the journey was so seamless and we consider ourselves very lucky because we have heard horror stories. We recommend her to anyone in the market for a new home. Throughout the entire process, she treated us like family. Everything was handled electronically expediently and securely. Just a remarkable transaction by an extraordinary person.
