We have been travelling for one year from France to Japan and this has been the most expensive but also the worst repair we had of the whole trip. We just went for a quick check of the bicycle and cleaning. When I came back to pick up the bicycle, he changed the pedals of both bicycles without asking. They gave the new pedals for free but they were shitty ones. The ones of my wife broke in one week and mine are not yet broken but going to soon. Also, when he cleaned my bicycle, they didn't reinstall properly the bottom bracket. There was some play that needed me to pay another mechanic to repair. Though they were friendly and spoke little English. I have respect for their work but I do not recommend bicycle travellers to go there for repairs.
