Of course I wish I did not have health complications, but I will say that I always look forward to and enjoy my appointments at EFC. I was introduced to the clinic because my best friend from third grade works there, and it so happens that Dr. Matt So takes my insurance. So not only to I get affordable care, but I also get to keep in touch with a dear friend. The entire team at EFC is really helpful and friendly, always making you feel at ease and ready to laugh.
I turned to chiropractic therapy to address long-standing digestive issues, and a back injury I have had for about a year. My hunch is that treating one issue will help the other. This brings me to something I really appreciate about Dr. Matt: he emphasizes the interconnectedness of our musculoskeletal system and nervous system. It hadn’t occurred to me before how the health of our brainstem, spine, and pelvis has such a huge impact on issues that may seem unrelated. This makes total sense and Dr. Matt invites me to reflect on how my stress levels are effecting my alignment, tension, and body patterns. The care he gives me makes me very curious about what my body is going through and how bodyminds work for humans in general.
Something EFC provides are progress exams that use technology to evaluate the functions of your nervous system. This is very helpful and fascinating because it helps me understand how the parts of me that are invisible, internal, and hard to perceive are working together.
I always leave the clinic feeling a sense of relief, whether that means less physical pain, more mental peace, and/or clearer energy. I understand that my healing process will take time, and that I must be patient, and I trust Dr. Matt with my journey and am very thankful for the progress he has already helped me make.
