Every CG Boost course is amazing and high quality. In this case, Cov Philips is an amazing teacher. He explains in a detailed way every step to create an environment using perspective and a smart composition and lightning. I specially liked the texturing part. This is a course for everyone interested in creating cinematic environments, and take the renders to another level. 10/10.

This course taught me so much about environment modeling from start to finish in a super detailed way. I have always wanted to learn how to do environment modeling, and this course is exactly what I wanted. I was overwhelmed at first, but I got used to it, and it was a journey. Cov not only gave us tutorials, but also provided tons of files that we could use and make us do this much easier. I have taken/bought many tutorials, but this is the most complete and well-made tutorial I have ever taken. If you want to know how those cool environment scenes are made, just take this course, and you will not regret it! Amazing course.

I recently completed the CG Boost Blender course on creating urban environments, and I was impressed with the depth and quality of the content. This is a definite for those wanting to master urban environment creation. The instructor's expertise is evident from the get-go, and the course structure is well-thought-out, gradually building the environment using foundational concepts but also sprinkling advanced techniques along the way, making it accessible and engaging for both beginners and experienced users.The instructor's narration is engaging and easy to follow and the pacing is just right, allowing for a comfortable progression through the material without feeling overwhelmed. There is enough repetition for concepts to be learnt and to then empower the student to try adding their own variation to the environment.In conclusion, if you are serious about mastering Blender 3D for creating stunning urban environments, this course is for you.

Creating a realistic environment requires meticulous attention to detail, and the course guides you through all of the steps - from the importance of initial research and concept, to the modeling, unwrapping, texturing and setting up props. While the end result can get quite complex, the process is split up in simple and manageable actions. The focus is not really on optimized modeling (rather on fast and easy to modify), but I think where it really shines is the material creation. On the overall, I had fun with this course and learned a few tricks.

"I just can't believe you made this". These were the words of my friends when I showed them the final result of this course. CG Boost is at it again with another gem. The instructor, Cov Phillips, a passionate 3D artist, will lead you throughout the course to achieve an amazing result. You will learn how to gradually compose an urban scene. Starting with simple and efficient modeling, bringing life to it with amazing texturing techniques (I did learn a ton of cool tricks in this course !), to scene kitbashing using free online assets. Cherry on top is the use of the free version of DaVinci Resolve to color grade and add some elements to your scene, achieving a vibrant result. If you liked the environment course from Martin, this one will complete your skill set for sure. After that, well... the only limit is your imagination. ;)
