Westward bound from Vermont, I thought a travel break and bike ride would be just the thing. It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood, just begging for an outdoor bike ride. I work at a bike shop back home, so figured the local shop would be a good source of “where to ride” knowledge. This is a great bicycle shop, well stocked, Lots of room, well organized, and most importantly, friendly, helpful staff. I’m impressed. Following their suggestion, I rode some of the local bike paths, sampled most of the mountain bike single track behind the nearby zoo/city park. All this right out the back door of the shop. p.s. what I saw of Fort Wayne, it’s pretty cool also.
