They seemed very knowledgeable with the bikes they were selling which made the decision to choose a bike easier. I brought my first Trek from here. I had to travel up to MK for the recent Madone purchase and MK were good BUT Alex at Trek St Albans takes customer care to the next level. As a professional I aim for high standards but Alex blew it out the park with his combination of effortless charisma in the way that he shared his knowledge, delivered a clear, informative and relevant insight into everything I wanted to know as well as inspiring my thoughts into my next bike almost on a subconscious level. Trek you deliver well always but in Alex you have an asset who would serve you well as a national store trainer, not many retail managers can deliver what Alex did with authenticity and easy.

I purchased my trek emonda from a cycle shop In Letchworth, however they were taken over by another company. After finding myself a bit stuck with where to take my bike I decided to take it to the trek store in St Albans. This was one of the best decisions I've made as the team are absolutely fantastic, welcoming, knowledgeable and can't do enough for you. We are all on first name terms now after being there quite a bit now as the team look after my bike servicing, reccomeded new tyres which were a game changer and generally just help when I need it. I was so impressed I reccomeded my father to buy his bike from the store which he did and I'll continue to reccomed the team to anyone else asking me for anything to do with bikes.

Took my Whyte Rheo in for a service and some new tubeless tyres a few weeks ago. Really good friendly guy and good advice. It was like a new bike when done. Really pleased with what they’d done. A few weeks later, I managed to damage the valves by being heavy handed with an old unsuitable pump. Took it back and they sorted it that afternoon and wouldn’t take any payment. Really would recommend this place highly.

My wife purchased a Trek FX Sport last year and I was really impressed with the St Albans Trek store. The Trek team were always very welcoming and happy to answer any questions or address any tweaks to my wife's bike when she popped in. So following a pre-purchase bike fit I was happy that it identified the Checkpoint SLR 6 as one of the most suitable bikes for my requirements. So far, (and it is early days) the bike seems great and I am happy that I have access to and support from the same local Trek team should I need it. In particular, a special mention for Alex at the store. He was a real help to me in speccing the bike, he kept me updated on delivery and was happy to make any adjustments I needed. He's a great ambassador for Trek.

Great shop with amazing staff. We went in to buy some flat pedals for my son's bike and due to something out of the shops control they were out of stock.
