I have LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist during a pandemic. However, Renissance Dental Center installed a NASA certified air filtration system and that gives me comfort. My review would not be complete if I did not highlight my highly skilled and professional hygienist, Vicci. She has kept my teeth looking beautiful for over twenty years. She is simply amazing! She’s thorough, detailed, and lets me know areas that I need to work on as she finds them. I trust her completely. Everyone from the dentists to the front office staff is always friendly and professional. Everyone at Renissance Dental Center makes me feel comfortable and I believe they have my best interest in mind.

3 years agoDr. Abernathy is the bomb!! I love my smile First dentist I have been to that I did not feel any pain at all. Not even the little stick from the needle to numb. I recommend Renaissance Dentistry 100%! Staff is 100% super nice.Dr. Abernathy is the bomb!! I love my smile First dentist I have been to that I did not feel any pain at all. My hygienist today, Stacy, was both gentle and thorough. Everyone is courteous and kind. Even with a very SHORT wait time—Don’t expect to be in and out in 45 minutes! Doing things right takes time. But you will be treated with respect and given great service. Beautiful, comfortable, clean office and waiting area. Update 2/15/22– Today surpassed my expectations by far. Wendy is an incredible hygienist. No wait this morning, and I was handed a beautiful bouquet of flowers when I left! Amazing experience!

I also enjoyed talking with Dr. Abernathy and learning of additional treatment options I may want to consider. Overall positive experience.

See MoreThe people at Renaissance Dental have completely changed my experience and view on going to the dentist. After previous nightmares at my last dentist office I was wary to go somewhere else, but they have been nothing but amazing. They are friendly, non-judge mental, and truly care about their patients. I highly recommend them!

The service, the care, the treatment are all excellent and efficient. The staff is warm, welcoming, super friendly; making everyone feel truly comfortable and relaxed. I have to give a shout out to my doc., Dr. Jill Sonner, (aka Dr. J, affectionately). She's knowledgeable, taking time to explain procedures and treatments, also accommodating certain request, (music be the music, lol) very patient with me, I feel very safe, and in good hands in the company of her and her staff. She's made me happy with my smile! Thanks to all of you, Jen, Heather, Marie, Karen, Lady V and the rest of the staff that support and hold it down for these amazing doctors- Dr. Abernathy, Dr. Sonner and Dr. Wells! ~Shawn C (aka Sha-Sha)

From the moment I walk in the door, I feel welcome and cared for. The receptionist is friendly, thorough and professional and Dr Abernathy and her assistants are like rays of sunshine! I am petrified of going to the dentist, but have felt comfortable and considerably less anxious since being seen at Renaissance Dental. I can’t thank the staff enough, especially Dr Abernathy, for the superior care they give me.

My dental hygienist is Vicci, and she is absolutely fabulous! She hears my concerns and give me all options to address them. Always being conservative and proactive about the course of treament. She is very attentive and always work around my teeth sensitivities, so I barely feel when she is working on them. Her work is excelent! And she still manages to remember my pet turtle’s name! Dr Sonner is also amazing! She listens and takes care of all my concerns. Also I barely felt when she drilled a cavity in the past. They have feather hands! Highly recommended!!!!

They are also very accommodating to people who are scared of the dentist office. The office itself has a very nice atmosphere and there are drinks in case you are thirsty. Definitely recommend!
