I’ve worked closest with Dr. Compton and Dr. Abernathy, and I highly recommend both of them! One of the best decisions I've made lately, was to go to Renaissance Dental. The staff genuinely cares about my dental health/care. They walked me through step by step on what I needed to have a great smile again. They were in depth and explained everything clearly, so that I could make an educated decision on which option(s) to choose. And I couldn't believe how affordable it was. There was absolutely NO pressure to go one way or the other, it was all my choice on how I wanted to proceed. Thank You. I look forward to going back soon.

They are seriously awesome. I'm fairly stoic, but I had enough dentist anxiety - especially the x-rays which always hurt so much - that I hadn't been for 12 years. Well, they got it done with no tears on my part! The empathy and concern helped so much. Then my fillings and crown experience was genuinely pain-free. In fact, it was practically fun - true story!

I've got horrible anxiety (a nightmare when it comes to anything dental) and Renaissance Dental popped up in a google search for anxiety dentists. I made an appointment in March and they couldn't fit me in until July but it was definitely worth the wait. A little nervous at first, but everyone there was caring and understanding. Mary was who cleaned my teeth up for me, and was always making sure that I was comfortable with anything going on. Truly an angel. I highly recommend checking them out, even if you don't have anxiety. Did I mention the office itself is spectacular? Great interior design! Thank you all for everything, and see you in six months!

Renaissance Dental is hands down the number one Dentistry in Raleigh. Perfectly nestled in North Hills, Renaissance Dental provides an intimate experience for each patient. I was graciously greeted very early in the morning and was offered beverages while I waited in an extremely inviting waiting room. After an extremely short wait, I was called back by Karen, who I can only describe as indescribable. She was kind, comforting, and most importantly knowledgeable. She was very informative and answered any question I had and provided positive affirmations throughout the appointment. She is a gem and truly cares about the patient experience. Dr. Wells met me with an infectious smile and made me feel excited for dental work (IF YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT!). Dr. Wells was by far the most positive interaction I have ever had with any Doctor ever! Maria was amazing too and offered a fully transparent breakdown of cost of needed work so I as the patient have the ability to financially prepare. Communication is often the hardest challenge for any business to tackle, but Renaissance Dental has not only overcome the challenge, they have mastered it. I can not recommend this office enough. Thank you all!

I am the first to say going to the dentist is something I never look forward to… but my experience at Renaissance Dental today was the best experience I have ever had. Dr. Abernethy and staff were super friendly and talked me through each step in the process for my procedure. Katelyn was awesome! My teeth haven’t felt so clean and smooth, I think ever! Granted, Covid has kept me away from the dentist for a while but she got me all cleaned and polished up and now I’m excited to stick with my every 6 months routine. As always, it was fantastic to see Dr. Wells and catch up with her. Such a great practice - always a positive experience :)
