I could not ask for a better experience than I get from Dr. Abernathy and Vicci. The office feels and looks like a home, and that's how you're treated from everyone on the staff, like you're home. I could not more highly recommend a dental practice.

See MoreI have been seeing the team at Renaissance Dental for over 3 years and I have never had an experience there that was less than outstanding. Not something easy to say about going to the dentist! Vicky is always incredibly friendly and enthusiastic and does a tremendous job immediately making you feel at ease. And Dr. Anna is always warm and engaging and does a great job technically and in educating her patients. I feel truly lucky to have found such a great practice and would recommend the entire Renaissance team to anyone!

It was quite a new experience learning about all of the new technology that is available today. We all got some good laughs on my first visit. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and I always love to see Dr. Sonner, such a fun person to be around. I have also been very pleased to have Vicci Newland as my dental hygienist. She is extremely gentle and explains what she is doing. I am never sore anymore after a cleaning.

I sit back and watch tv as they work on my cleaning. Vicci is a great hygienist and always lets me know exactly what she is doing and why she is doing it. Dr. Anna is very knowledgeable and has made several recommendations for me that have worked perfectly. I look forward to going to the dentist now!

Hygienist Vicci Newland put me at ease right away. She is very reassuring and made every effort to make me comfortable explaining each procedure. Dr. Abernathy checked me out and was also reassuring. The atmosphere at Renaissance is comforting...from the lovely waiting room to the front desk personnel....all top notch. I highly recommend Ms. Newland, Dr. Abernathy, Sonner and Dr. Wells for any dental needs.

Abernethy, Sonner and Wells have been my dentists since they opened. Not only do they have the best customer service, I actually enjoy going to the dentist, and have gotten many of my friends and co-workers to switch to them as well. The staff is great, there is very little wait time and all the dentists are perfectionists, so you are sure to have a beautiful smile! I would recommend them to anyone.

I have extreme anxiety when having dental work. These ladies listen to my fears and do what they can to make my experience enjoyable. Who doesn't enjoy watching Judge Judy on their own personal tv while having their teeth cleaned?? I always end up leaving with a smile on my face and gorgeous pearly whites. Make an appointment to go see Dr. Abernethy asap....you won't regret it.

See MoreI have been so pleased with the care, expertise, service and comfort at Renaissance Dental Center. It feels more like a spa than a dental office and I actually look forward to my check ups! Vicci Newland is an amazing hygienist. Highly educated,skilled and gentle, but thorough. I appreciate Vicci's holistic background and how she combines it with leading edge dentistry. Dr. Sonner is awesome and takes good care of my family, including an extremely high dental anxiety /sensitive hearing teen. She immediately put him at ease and has never needed to use sedation. Respect and patience with his sensitivities turned something that in the past has been an absolute nightmare into a pleasurable experience. I can't say enough good things about this place!

After trying several dentists in the Raleigh area, I found Dr. Jill Sonner and Vicci Newland RDH. Vicci will spend as long as it takes to clean my teeth and gives me tips and medicine for my sensitive spots. Dr. Sonnier has gone out of her way to help my whole family enjoy going to the dentist. Now, I look forward going to the dentist . :).

They are always timely & never keep me waiting....although I don't mind waiting in the plush waiting room with cold drinks! I would recommend Renaissance to anyone who's looking for an excellent dentist & an overall great dental experience.

I thought it would be a good investment to get them fixed. It took me a while to make the decision, but I chose Dr. Sonner because I felt I could trust her. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. She is one of the most outstanding professionals I've ever met. She really did care even more about my teeth and my smile than I did. She wanted it perfect and thanked ME for letting her take the time and care do it perfectly. She is a genuine, sincere, and fun person and I actually enjoyed the process (no kidding). I was blessed to have Karla as Dr. Sonner's co-pilot and as a team they were THE BEST.

They got me in on an emergency (broken tooth), even though I was a first-time patient. Kristen, the Dental Assistant, took great care of me on the prep and Dr. Anna was superb. She told me important things I can do for prevention that no other dentist has mentioned. The procedure was painless, the office friendly and warm and I highly recommend Renaissance Dental.

In all my (a-Hem!) years, I have never had better dental care or been serviced by such wonderful, caring professionals. Both Vicci Newland and Dr. Sonner have taken me under their wings (they are angels, you see) and continually provide me with the very best dental care I have ever experienced. They're friendly, they're inviting, but more importantly - they care. The establishment is very comforting, providing televisions at every dental chair, as well as a living room esque waiting room. But, the work they did is where they really shined. I can't begin to describe to you how much they helped me and my smile. Long story short, I used to smile with my lips sealed. Now, I can't keep my mouth shut. You will not be disappointed. Stop your search, you found the right dentist.
