I’m so glad I called Shield, their technician Jay responded by email the same day. The reason I’d contacted Shield was I’d found evidence of termites after removing drywall after flooding from Hurricane Ian. Oh my even more stress to deal with after recovering from the flooding. Before covering up the walls, I wanted answers.
Jay came over on a Saturday to see what was going on. He was on time and eager to assess the situation. After a thorough inspection, Jay offered his services at a reasonable price, but he also offered a solution for a DIY guy like me. He explained termite behavior, what to look for and how to protect against them in the future. Jay is knowledgeable and honest. No sales pitch form this Veteran, just a willingness to get the problem solved. I’m relieved to know my home isn’t being eaten alive. Don’t hesitate to call Shield for honest answers and solutions.
