Richard has helped me enhance my English Language Skills over the course of Year 11 and 12, through giving various application tasks to do in tuition and across the week. Furthermore, he is a really knowledgeable and excellent tutor.

The tutoring sessions are very effective and organized. Every topic of the study design is explained thoroughly with different examples in the student resource hub that Richard created for his students. Not only that, Richard has response templates for different types of questions which gives an outline of how to write high level responses. Nearly in every session, after he finishes teaching the theory, he gives us time to apply what we learnt by solving past VCE exam questions. If anyone has any questions they are free to ask Richard and he finds the best possible way to re-explain the topic. Overall, Richard's tutoring sessions have been a great experience for me.

richard provides useful and high quality resources that allows me to understand the subject a lot more, and make me feel more prepared. i find the student resource hub extremely helpful as it acts like a guide and the content application sessions allow me to understand how to apply my knowledge properly.

The lessons that Richard runs every week are well planned out and the content runs in parallel with my EngLang lessons at school. The additional resources that he is frequently updating, in particular the metalanguage cheatsheet, is well written and very detailed.

Despite only joining VCE English language tutor recently, I have found both the group and individual sessions extremely helpful, along with the student resource hub, which contains a wealth of information, as well as tips and tricks, on how to approach SACs. I would definitely recommend Richard to anyone studying English Language as it has boosted my confidence and has given me lots of structure regarding the subject.
