Richard really knows his stuff! His tutoring is superb and the resources he's put his time into can add some edge to peoples learning. There is a variety of features he has within his program as its absolutely great!

I really struggled in Englang in year 11, so I looked into getting a tutor and found Richard as one of the first options. From the beginning it gave me a simplified, almost formulaic approach to Englang that boosted my SAC marks in year 12 from 60s-70s to 80s-90s. I have the amazing student resource hub to thank for this as it is filled with so much helpful info- I especially made use of the simplified metalanguage glossary (which took a massive load of me trying to learn metalang from textbooks!) and the register cheatsheets. However what really pushed this change in my grades was the TEEL structure that Richard and the tutors pushed every lesson to structure ACs and essays and as a bit of a waffler (can you tell from how long this review is lol)- this really made my writing more concise and accurate, the content to application sessions really helping me practice this. Finally although I haven't been to a 1 to 1 session yet, the assistance and feedback you get from the tutors I believe would be immensely helpful in improving!

This year, Richard has been a tremendous help with U3/4 English Language. The interactive and structured content to application sessions provide amazing detail and explanation on what we're learning. On the interactive discord server any questions are answered swiftly, and high order essay examples are shared (for everyone to see). By signing up to Richard's tutoring plan you will also get access to his exclusive resources which include a wealth of cheat sheets and step by step guides. I can personally testify that Richards tutoring is well worth the purchase and will significantly boost your grades and confidence in the subject.

Richard is dilligent with his teaching and makes learning English Language a very engaging and interactive experience. Along with the high calibre teaching he provides a significant amount of useful resources. The resources that Richard provides is an ammenity that provides assurance and meticulous detail in what is explained and taught such as the writing guides and cheatsheets for different form factors of assessments. His lessons are strutured in a way that allows me learn and understand sufficiently, which coincides with what we cover at school but to a more detailed and higher standard, which is very benifical, along with being engaging and allowing me to practice and apply the knowledge taught. He has been a great mentor and teacher through the past few years and has provided me with extensive feedback along with accountability and support, which has helped me excel in the study of English language. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for an English Language tutor as he provides and facilities everything to guide you.

Ive been a student of Richards for a few months now, and I have really reaped the benefits of his amazing material and extremely valuable lessons. The metalanguage cheat sheet and the essay writing template have been particularly useful to me- the metalanguage cheat sheet concisely provides a detailed explanation of what each feature is, but more importantly shows how it can be applied in our ACs and essays. The essay writing template has helped me establish a clear cut structure for writing essays and presenting out examples. And most importantly the weekly lessons have 2 high scoring tutors go over how you are supposed to tackle English language, which I have also found extremely helpful. Richard and his team have been such an amazing help with U3/4 English Language this year. The content to application zooms provide great detail and clarification on what we’re learning in an interactive and structured way. Everyone is able to share questions and real-life examples on the discord (for everyone to see) whilst also having access to the ‘Student Hub’ which provides so many detailed resources on everything you need to know (including templates, metalanguage, etc.). Everything is so easy to follow and has been done to help us to receive a great mark at the end of the year. I would definitely recommend this tutoring for anyone not confident in English Language or wanting to extend themselves and abilities further!
